I made it using Civ III Map editor and Photoshop. What do ya'll think?

Is the domed building near Resi City your capital building or symbolic of something else?

heh, that's a pretty cool idea. I actually have (or had, I should say ;)) SimCity 2000 files for most of the major cities in my country, but the disks they're on have gone MIA. Er, where was I? Oh right, a very cool map! (even if Civ II was WAY better than Civ III ;))

Edit: - Up as in building skyscrappers etc Down as into the ground with underground complexes.

Kat is right (long time no see, eh? :wink: ). Well, that and the fact that our nation IS a lot bigger than the map makes it look. If I wanted the city names to be legible and the carrier groups to be visible, that's just about as big as I could make it.

I can say it's a lot better than my poor attempts to draw my nation in Paint!

That may be true (I mean, who really wants to listen to Elvis in a toga?), but there is one thing to be said for CivII: the combat system makes sense. I don't think I ever had a full-power battleship lose to a trireme in II :P

Yeah... and I usually switched to communism towards the end... it seems to work so goddamn well because I can declare war on who I liked and yet have no corruption in my empire (which is usually teeming with it towards the end).

But then again, I made a point of building all the abusive world wodners before anyone else. With exception to the great wall... I didn't like the way it forced other nations to like me, I'd rather have the gunpowder.

Anyways, I always ignored Elvis... he aways whines about making the people happy... well screw the people, I want to be able to pay for world wonders...
