That's right, Resi fans, I have decided to re-invent Resi Corp. All your favorite characters will still be around, no worries there, but the corporation will go in a new direction.

For starters, the homeland will focus its military budget totally on defense. That's right, other than an embargo and the occasional old ortillary satellite left over from a bygone era, there's nothing that we will have offensively.

Also, in response to that whole Iesus Christi fiasco, we have taken heavy damages from the attack (which we are STILL getting over), although it was not RPed. We had to let Iesus continue production of the Iesuscopter, and split our gigantic surplus three ways between Melkor, Iesus, and the PCC to keep them from attacking. Judging from the character of these three nations, they would've found the deal most acceptable. Mind you, this is NOT our nation sales surplus, I'm getting to that.

As for our nation sales surplus, consider it ignored. Yes, we are ignoring our nation sales surplus. Yes, you read this right. Speaking of ignores, I'm also ignoring all Atlantas Submarines and any revenue made off of them until I get a chance to re-vamp them (expect sonar invisibility to be the first godmody feature to go). That's right, I'm ignoring my own tech.

So all of you who have ignored me for my past transgressions, you can either forgive and forget, or hold it against me. At least this way I'll have a clear concious. Oh, and for all of you nay-sayers who said my OOC excuses were untrue, they actually were true. I know you won't believe that, and if you don't your other option is to bite me.

In the future, I want to focus more on store creation and character RP, which I have learned to be my fortes in the NS experience. I want to play out the relationship between Eris and Jai more, starting with their wedding and maybe some beforehand preparations to get newcomers back into the story. I also want to develop Sara a bit more, as always, but I need to wait until Roania comes back for that. As always, there's my doomsday scenario that's looming on the horizon that a few of you know about, as well as a RP deep in an underground lab of the Resi Corporation that I've been meaning to get to before I have my empire decimated temporarily by some neigh-omnipotent force.

And so, without further adeu, I open up the thread to commentary.

Those rules look interesting, spending all of your military on defense might be a good idea in case IC comes knocking again... Looking forward to RPing with ya.

Looks good, but remember, if you ever need help in throwing those damned nuisances off your back, there are plenty of nations who hate them all, and would be ready to help you overcome your oppression.

Hi. I almost got involved in one of your wars, when I was in the GA a while back. I'm a small nation, nevertheless I think I have genuine talent in writing, and character development is kind of my specialty too.

Nanotech will be too much of a huge development in the Real World to just ignore, so I'm not just going to give it up. However, such things as baseball-sized objects droping from orbit to dispense nanomachines will be gone, as they obviously couldn't survive re-entry. These will be replaced by massive heat-sheilded pods (think a little smaller than the pods NASA uses for re-entry) containing several nanomachine dispensers (now about the size of basketballs) that it will release at a given altitude.

Nanotech has become so integral to the corporation that it can't just be given up. If I were to ignore it, several other nations that have worked on nanotech related projects with me would be left in tough positions, not to mention that my whole factory system would be destroyed. Much as it would please the world, we just can't give up nanotech.

Eh, let's say four ways, I had a large enough regular surplus to even please you uber-capitalist elf types with only a forth of it. I mean, it's certainly easier than splitting my corporation four ways, and fighting with Melkor and the Reich over how much of a protion you'd get.

Besides, you've got to admit that fighting alongside Melkor was a pretty big stretch of character. But hey, I'll be the first to admit that me "slacking off" there was worse than that RP-wise.

~SiriThe way I understood it, Santa Barbara gave Iesus plans for the copter, and planed to split me 50/50. When I was being overrun, I plead to Melkor (whose bitch I essentially was at the time) to stop the insanity, so he tried to talk Iesus out of it. Iesus instead payed Melkor off to join him in the conquest of me.
