In the interests of national safety, and keeping Ninjao an isolated and neutral territory, the defensive shields bordering the large nation have been activated. However, in the interests of future trade and immigration, the shields are selectively permeable. Access to the nation is controlled by the Aviation Administration, and to gain access, one must simply make a request to the leader of the region one desires to visit. To avoid further conflicts between nations, the reason for the visit must first be approved.

As the leader of the P4lladian Institution of Apathy and Irrelevancy, I would like to take this oppertunity to outline the dynamics of the LandWeb Electromagnetic Containment System.
The L-WECS is a rather simple device, consisting of, basically, a very, very powerful electromagnetic feild generator. This field is many times more intense than the Earth's field, and is powered by a medium-sized nuclear fusion generator. The field generator sits in the center of Ninjao, at the top of a mountain. Located around the perimeter of Ninjao's terrirory are small(er) Active Field Shaping Towers (AFST) that "drag" the field out and form, more or less, a bubble around the island, while the interior of the nation is free of flesh-vaporizing energy fields. This protective bubble can repel several tons travelling at the speed of sound, or much heavier objects going slower. Thus, most missiles and aircraft without authorization will bounce off the field upon collision. Smaller 'wall shields' connect the towers, making entry on foot or by vehicle a skin-meltingly fun time. The system is not perfect, however, and can be dissipated in small areas by nearby matter/antimatter detonations, or by ramming it with an enourmous, super-fast object. Luckily for us, both of those things are hard to come by.
