An Unexpected Arrival In Diablo_NL
The pocket cruiser Tyelca Tuo descended through the Earth's atmosphere, gently-so. She almost floated down, so controlled was her descent; her path took her to the very edge of Diablo_NL airspace...
...and then she fired an RF transmission into Diablo_NL.
This is the EOTED pocket cruiser IDSS Tyelca Tuo requesting permission to enter Diablo_NL airspace. We are carrying 9th Ambassador Ingrati, who craves an audience with your new leader. We gently suggest all due rapidity; this is a matter of great importance. - This is the EOTED warship...
And the message repeats.

Shaul was surprised by all this, he din't expect anyone wanted to visit him, and he din't want to either, but if he refused relations would deteriorate and it was better to keep old allies untill Arda membership was acheived.
"This is New Avalon control, you are cleared to enter, but keep all your weapon systems offline or we will open fire." They transmitted to the ship.
The return transmission from the Tyelca Tuo, as she enters Diablo_NL airspace at fairly brisk but subsonic speed, is a faintly irritated one:
Our gunports were, are, and will continue to remain closed, and we have no hostile intent, New Avalon Control. If we did, we wouldn't be asking for clearance. - Please direct us to an appropriate landing facility. Tyelca Tuo out.

New Avalon control din't send in a response.
At the landing site there were many soldiers, armored cars, a few tanks and even 4 mechs waiting around a limosine wich would take whatever delegate they had to the capital.
The EOTED Ambassador walked down the gangplank that had once been part of the hull (before it dissolved into liquid and flowed down onto the ground, solidifying as the gangplank), and eyed the military presence with trepidation. She flicked a hand slightly, indicating to two waiting IPG officers that they were to follow...
...and they did. Wearing the jet-black heavyset exo-skeletal support body armour that only the IPG are issued with, and replete in full combat gear, there can be no illusions as to the understanding that EOTED has of the situation: dangerous.
Arm-mounted microwave blasters in passive mode (as indicated by the lack of deployed PTFS - that is, Projected Tripod Firing System), E-pistols on either hip, and goodness knows what else stowed in the many nooks and crannies of the armour - trouble is not only expected, it's prepared for.
Ambassador Ingrati, herself wearing a microwave blaster on both hips (which does somewhat offset the overall beauty of the figure-hugging blue-and-gold gown she wears), halts by the limosine, expecting someone to open a door for her; protocol would expect nothing less. If no such courtesy is found, then one of the IPG officers - with a noncommital grunt that could be construed to mean annoyance - will open said door.

A uniformed man held the door open so ingrati and her escort could enter.
Inside there was all that they needed to be comfortable, but not overly luxerious as you would expect.
The driver swiftly took them to the capital among tall buildings, witch looked of ancient times more then modern.
At the government headquarters there were more armed guards their to greet them, but ontop of the stairs stood Shaul with Keldan next to him, ready to greet the ambassador.
Ingrati - a plain woman, not of stunning beauty but rather of stocky, powerful build (for a Nenyan) and a nose that's not quite curved enough, a jaw that's a bit too jutting, and a forehead that's a little too flat - does not bow at all; she merely greets Shaul stiffly, "Honoured Shaul, I greet thee." The additional inflection on the honorific makes what would be complimentary into something that really isn't in the least; but it isn't truly insulting, either. Of course, it could be taken that way...
"I have come seeking confirmation of the current relationship that EOTED and your noble country," no sarcasm there, "have enjoyed for some time. The shift in regime does not displease us, but it does not please us, either. Stability is craved, after all. And so we seek certain... reassurances. If we may move inside, where prying ears are less, such discussions can take place in more comfortable surroundings."

"Greetings ambassador Ingrati" Shaul said, not really pleased with the show of disrespect. "We favour stabillity as well ambassador. Please follow me inside." He said and led the Ingrati and her escort inside. The building wasn't luxerious, rather functional, with everything easilly accessible. He leads them to a room with a plane wooden table and chairs, a few windows on the wall with a thin half transparent curtain over them. The walls are adorned with simple light fixtues and just a few paintings of forests and fields.
Shaul sits down at the head of the table and Keldan stand next to him on his right. He gestures to the chair on his right and speaks. "Please do sit down. Would you like some refreshments ambassador?"
Ingrati sits; the two IPG men remain standing, casting a somewhat imposing and dour shadow on proceedings. They don't appear all that interested in blinking, either.
"No, thank you," the Ambassador answers politely - well, somewhat - on the issue of refreshments.
She pauses a few moments. "Firstly, the Empire is curious as to how the new order in Diablo_NL would classify its... ideology."
She leaves the 'question' hanging.
