Communism Growing in Mazakia(CIVIL WAR!).

29-12-2003, 00:47
Welcome peoples of the International Community, I come to you with disturing news, we of the Republic of Mazakia have always took pride in being hard workers, this is now causing us some trouble in the form of the Mazakian Associated Worker's Party, the M.A.W.P. holds the belief that the current Government is bad for the nation, and only serves to keep a rich few in power, while the masses must work hard for small wages, they are currently demanding reform, which the Government is refusing, we shall act to preserve our Democratic system.
Galdania
29-12-2003, 00:54
Galdania offers the M.A.W.P. it's full support.
29-12-2003, 00:58
The people's republic of Santo Hermando extends its sympathy towards the brave and heroic working class of M.A.W.P. and hopes that their brave cause will eventually endure against the blood thirsty imperialists working behind a corrupted democracy.

Unite people of Mazakia!

Best wishes,

Hector Westaz

President of the people's republic of Santo Hermando
Dolvich
29-12-2003, 01:00
Whilst the Democratic Republic of Dolvich holds left-wing values in high regard, it realises that preserving democracy is far more important than caring about whether a government or uprising is left-wing or right-wing. Dolvich supports the current democratic system of Mazakia regardless of its political 'leanings' and finds it to be an effective government due to its thriving economy.
Galdania
29-12-2003, 01:07
While we applaud Mazakia's love of democracy (Galdania is a democracy, despite what our political freedoms are ranked), and it's attention to Social Welfare, we believe that the MAWP, under proper guidence by Galdania, as a democratically elected body, could improve Civil and political rights in mazakia, and improve the economy through collectivization.
Dolvich
29-12-2003, 01:18
The Democratic Republic of Dolvich is anxious to see whether the M.A.W.P is intending to use force or diplomatic action to attain the reform they desire. Dolvich requests of Mazakia that it allow a team of diplomatic specialists to travel to mazakia in order to fully assess the threat of communism and to determine the support of the M.A.W.P.
29-12-2003, 01:41
If a such diplomatic mission into Mazakia shall be approved, representitives from the Peoples republic of Santo Hermando foreign ministry are available for use in the assesment-mission.

Also, Santo Hermando urges that a possible foreign diplomatic team must be multinational.
Galdania
29-12-2003, 01:47
OOC: Santo Hernando, do something about those civil rights, man...They're way too low! :(
IC: Galdania would also like to send agents into Mazakia to assess the situation and aid the MAWP in establishing victory through DIPLOMATIC means.

We...have...no civil rights problems....

I can assure the international community that our country is currently working on this matter of false image that some separatist scum have given to the world concerning our great nation, it seems that enemies of the people are everywhere these days.

As a show of solidarity, President Hector Westaz has agreed to let the some of the local political opposition parties to have a free demonstration from Monday till Saturday this week.

On a sidenote, The communist party of the people's republic of Santo Hermando (CPPRSH) is going to hold a parade/rally in favor of the brave struggle of the M.A.W.P.

Long live the peoples struggle!

29-12-2003, 04:22
IC: Galdania, Santa Hermando, and Dolvich shall all be permitted to send diplomatic specialists to assess the situation if they wish.

By the executive orders of President Hector Westaz of the peoples republic of Santo Hermando a team of diplomatic specialists shall be sent on their way to observe the fragile situation developing in Mazakia.

The president of Santo Hermando still wishes that the mission be declared multinational, and therefore more nations should sign up for the diplomatic envoy.

29-12-2003, 11:22
The Divine Emperor of Aerion advises that your government brutally crush this opposition in massive execution, and that a single leader who exhibits superior genetic traits be put into power as the single leader or at least that a eugenics program be established. We will send genetic specialists to establish a eugenics program to start breeding perfection in the major race in your nation, and to find a single leader or leaders who exhibit superior genetic traits if you so wish.

President Hector Westaz of the peoples republic of Santo Hermando has proposed that a Socialist/communist diplomatic observation team(or SCDOT for short) be created for this specific mission, mainly as to give a name to the diplomatic envoy soon to travel into Mazakia.

We might also need a chairman from one of the missions' nationalities.

The Region, The Anti-Communist Alleigance finds this most disturbing. Communism must be stopped in all its forms.

Dr. Max Bastion, President of Guildenhelm,
Founder of the Anti-Communist Allegiance
29-12-2003, 12:56
This "Anti-Communist Allegiance" of Guildenhelm has no business in this matter, your decadent imperialist lies will cloud the noble workers and pesants of M.A.W.P from their civil rights.

If the "Anti-Communist Allegiance" moves against the SCDOT-member nations, Santo Hermando recommends a joint military action against the Guildenhelm.

We are here to help the people of Mazakia, and as for now that help is narrowed down to diplomatic observation only, however if external threats from other nations arise against the M.A.W.P all of the socialist/communist states must move against this threat, as a unified front.
Aerion
29-12-2003, 13:13
The Divine Emperor of Aerion has decreed that he will deploy an elite regiment of the Imperial Marines to your nation in order to find, and destroy the communist threat. They will need to be placed above local law so that the regiment may weed out, and effectively purge your nation of all communist influences. This will preserve your government, and your people's safety.

The last thing the people of Mazakia need is a sick Soviet-system. Mazakia is an honourable nation, wich preserves the principles of democracy and freedom. Their government must make a clear stand against these communists and keep an eye on them. I am , however, against a repressive approach.
Maybe the M.A.W.P can be integrated into your democratic system, as long as their methods are peacefull.
Dolvich
29-12-2003, 14:01
Upon orders of the President of the Democratic Republic of Dolvich, our diplomatic team has decided to operate independantly from SCDOT, and asks for private talks with the Mazakian government, in order to collect data. However it should be said that Dolvich is not hostile to the M.A.W.P or the SCDOT, rather it prefers to remain neutral for the time being and waits for new information concerning the crisis.
Freebodnik V

Freebodnik V pledges its undying support for the struggle of the Mazakian Workers, but hopes that these workers do not lose sight of true democracy in their pursuit of economic freedom from the chains of capitalist-imperialist society. May freedom and equality blossom in the Mazakian streets, may the bloom of ten thousand lotus flowers spread through the halls of Mazakian history!

29-12-2003, 16:07
Gaeltach and her allies stand in full support of Democracy in Mazakia. Communism is ideal on paper, but is fundamentally flawed, and must therefore be contained. However, if the government can find a way to peacefully integrate the M.A.W.P. so be it.
29-12-2003, 16:28
The people's republic of Santo Hermando still continues to enforce its support to the M.A.W.P, but nevertheless acts according to the SCDOT "rules of engagement" which state this crisis must be completed on a diplomatic level.

However, several countries completely alien to the situation have taken seed and are threatening the sovereign state of the M.A.W.P. along with their presence, therefore the SCDOT is asking for all of the communist/socialist states along with their individual militaries to consider a move to "block" any outside states from using the situation in Mazakia for their own benefit.

For now, Techbanistan and Paradiszia seem to be interested in a military solution, our state of santo Hermando still agrees with the diplomatic mission.
29-12-2003, 16:41
"Communism is ideal on paper, but is fundamentally flawed, and must therefore be contained"

That is capitalist propaganda generated by the corrupted imperialist junta!

Your capitalist states feed upon the brave worker, your bloody fangs of slavery and corrupted economy rip the people of their rights one by one, therefore your "idea" of a democracy is unacceptable to any reasonable government out there.

The peoples republic of Santo Hermando is here to help the Mazakian people, and the M.A.W.P. to gain a victory and to establish a real peoples democracy to Mazakia.

However, several hostile states have now invaded this conflict, corrupting the noble mission of the SCDOT and the true spirit of Marxism-Leninism!

I urge the other socialist/communist states to act by using any means necessary if the likes of Gaeltach and the Aerion decide to violate the sovereign existence of M.A.W.P. !

Glory to the workers of Mazakia! raise the red banner into the air and throw down the capitalist oppressors!
29-12-2003, 21:22
Aerion: We will not establish any eugenics program, and our leads shall be elected every 10 years by Democratic Process, that is how it has always been for us, and that is how it will always be, also, please keep your Regiment of Imperial Marines off of our soil for now, if we did let them in, they would be subject to our laws, if they come uninvited, we shall view it as a hostile incursion, and meet it with the full might of the Citizen Force.
~President Wagner.

Dolvich: These private talks shall be permitted.
~President Wagner.

Freebodnik V: That's a lot of lotus flowers.

Galdanian agents are in Mazakia, and will try to talk to the MAWP about diplomatic change.
29-12-2003, 23:47
Our view in this matter is currently that the mission of the SCDOT along with the other independent diplomatic observers must continue.

Also, all of the SCDOT members should commit military forces to handle any such aggressors as the Aerion from entering Mazakia in the future.

Let the situation continue, however our stand on the matter still is that the current regime of Mazakia should step down and let the true preachers of democracy, the M.A.W.P. to form a new socialist/communist government in the old decadents place.
Dolvich
30-12-2003, 00:22
The Dolvich diplomatic specialists have arrived in Mazakia and are currently resting in guest quarters. Tommorow it shall begin talks with the Mazakian government.

Meanwhile, in Locke, the capital of Dolvich, there is heated debate over how Dolvich should treat the situation.

The Anti-Communist Anti-Environmentalist Party states that the communists cannot be trusted and suggests a "thorough political cleansing and removal of the threat from the MAWP".

The Economic Progress Party argues that getting involved is "simply a waste of time and resources" and proposes that the diplomatic specialists back out before civil war begins and they run the risk of being taken as hostages by the MAWP.

The Leftist Unity Party supports the MAWP and demands that we should supply them with resources such as food and medical supplies.

However the current ruling party, the Liberty Party, dismisses their demands and remains reluctant to take any potentially risky action.

30-12-2003, 05:32
It seems that SCDOT has received three new "members" from Letila, the Aztec National League, and the CommunismRevisited, this is excellent.

The peoples republic of Santo Hermando is demanding that no more than one capitalist nation shall intervene in this internal conflict of the Mazakian people, however SCDOT members will be privileged to help the M.A.W.P. in their struggle, each by the means they see fit.

Santo Hermando is still attempting to pressure the current government to leave its position and give the M.A.W.P. a chance to form a truly democratic governmental system.

The diplomatic SCDOT-team from Santo Hermando has also made some preliminary research in the area and are willing to give a short firsthand report concerning the situation within a few hours.

However, if more corrupted capitalist nations attempt to further oppress the people of Mazakia by entering Mazakian soil, Santo Hermando calls for the deployment of send in forces to repel these invaders.

M.A.W.P. has the support of the worlds socialist/communist communities, and if any foreign (and in a extreme case) or domestic enemies of this brave peoples organization shall threaten its independence, a military action must be established.

Hector Westaz, the president of the peoples republic of Santo Hermando is still voicing tremendous support for the favour of the M.A.W.P. in Santo Hermandos capital city of Westazville.

Lenoid Andropov: And what are your feelings on what we should do?

Minister of Defence: We must attack while they are still weak. We must send direct millitary aid in the form of our own army landing.

Minster of the Interior: That is madness! Leaping head first into a war with a nation we have had barley any contact with. Can you imagine the costs! Our econmy is bombing my comrades, are we to destroy it by spending all our funds on a war!

A hotel in the Mazakian capital city

Jahnos scowls, looking up at the new arrival - who looked reasonably presentable, when compared to the t-shirt-and-shorts clad Jahnos. He sucks harshly on a cigarette.

"Ainya. Good yer back. How are those riots?"

The one addressed as Ainya drapes her jacket over a chair, looking slightly harried.

"A number of streets away. We don't have to worry yet."

Another diplomatic observer emerges from the hotel room's modest kitchenette, bearing a cup of instant noodles.

"What are they rioting about, anyway? What did you see of police action and presence?"

IC: Suddenly, Jahnos, Ainya, and their partner are startled by sirens close by, these sirens are of the sort used by the Police, looking out through a window they see some Police Cruisers going down the road at high speed, they stop at the end of the street the hotel is on, and a number of Police pile out after forming the 3 vehicles into a roadblock, they are carrying clubs, shields, and guns, and wearing riot helmets.

"Things are beginning to move - the storm may soon come here. Let's get packing, we might need to move on short notice."

As Jahnos heads to the bathroom to change, the fourth operative, Ifeyn, appears. She's a fairly young woman, brown haired and bespectacled, thin but not unattractive. Absently, she adjusts a headset, which appears to include some sort of visual display unit mounted on her spectacles.

Meanwhile, in Veracruz, the ANL capital...

An advisor walks up to Quetzalcoatl's desk with an file in his hand. He stops at the desk and tells the Primier:

"Sir, Mazakia is on the verge of revolution. Riots have been reported in several cities including Neshneidaitz, their capital. It is unknown how the the government of Mazakia will respond. However, how are we going to respond. You offered to help, but, now it's beyond serrious."

Quetzalcoatl sighed, turned to face an window and see the city lights. He thought to himself. Finally, after a few seconds he turned around and said

"I never thought this situation would become so dire. While I would like to see another communist government be established, several people might get hurt or die, that is something no one wants to see. However, I did pledge our help, and well, if we do, we will be assisting in a coup de ta against an soverign government."

He stops talking, and sits back down at his seat. He thinks for a little bit, and then says

"Here's what we'll do. We won't supply anyone with anything at this time. See if we can contact the communist forces, if we can, then try to be diplomatic, we don't want this situation to blow up into war. If they are unwilling to talk, then , let it be, we'll wait and see."

Hows about we say that you can only use 1 percent (at max) for your army. This means that if you have 100 million people, you have 1 million in the armed forces. That puts you at anywhere between 250,000-500,000 actual land fighting troops.

Im gonna go ahead and have a larger army with somewhat lesser technology, due to my nations complosry millitary servce, and how I can always use conscripts.

Using the often-employed tactic of deception, the subs, after deploying decoys, evaded damage by the torpedoes, save for one sub which was damaged in the attack, but was able to stay submerged.

The Submarines used their Skval II torpedoes on the transports, hoping that the gas-bubble technology might be enough to speed the torpedoes pas enemy defences. The subs then used K-NAKs, long-rranged missiles, to hit the harbor of the city, before withdrawing.

"Jesus!" Brighton stared towards the site of the explosion. The Glorious Humanity ships rocked as waves generated by the blast passed them by. "What the hell was that?"

"Looked like a nuke, sir," one of his radarmen spoke up. "But nobody fired anything. We sure as hell didn't, and nothing launched from the other fleets in the area. Just... boom."

"Damn, I wonder what's wrong over there," Brighton said.

"Orders, sir?" the comm man maintaining contact with the other fleet ships asked.

"We'll continue as planned," Brighton replied. "Have the subs spread out to cover the transports, and the transports should move forward. We'll make our landing and get to it."

Suddenly, as detected by various ships, a nuclear explosion occurs out in the area of the Aerion ships. It lights up the sky, as where a Los-Angeles class sub was, there is now a nuclear explosion. The side of the Aerion Nimtz-class carrier is ripped open, as many of the other ships in the carrier battle group are damaged. The orange flames can be seen in the distance. Numerous loud alarms can be heard in the distance. There is an immediate S.O.S call sent out from many of the ships.

Not 3 pages into the RP and already nukes are flying. Need I stress more that a nuclear weapon would not be used so freely!

If you feel the need to nuke so freely, I direct you towards International Incidents. They enjoy "glassing" everyone and everything.

Pherhaps we can replace the word "Nuke" with "Really Big Bomb". The wave from a nuclear weapon going off would effectivley destroy all navies in the conflict at the moment, something I'm sure most nations dont want.

ooc:It was a nuclear reactor explosion, that could have been somewhat contained and not as large as a nuclear weapon. I can change this if this is not the case.

The alarms on some of the ships of the Aerion continue to sound, a deafening cry that can possibly be heard for miles. S.O.S transmissions continue to go out. One transmission that is being sent out is particularly disturbing, "This is Commander Ouern, of the INS Pako. We are a Los-Angeles class sub. Our ............nuclear reactor has .....been..... destabilized. Meltdown.....anticipated...". It seemed, by detection, the other Los-Angeles class sub of the fleet was severely damaged.

ooc: It exploded due to sabotage, so some other devices could have been used to make it blow up like that. Just go with it for roleplay purposes, no one has to be severely damaged.

The explosion was a distance away from the others, and the Aerion battle group was the closest to it. The sub had been out on a patrol some distance from the group.

The fleet continues to burn, as alarms sound, and S.O.S goes out.

Now the waves won't be anywhere as deadly. However, as far as submarines go, I doubt their performace will be good, what with all the noise that is, and will be created from the explosion.

"Sir, picking up SOS from the Aerion fleet," one comm man said.

Brighton considered. He had orders, and technically Aerion was the enemy in this fight. But laws of the sea and his own conscience wouldn't let it go.

"The Fist of Man's got a DSRV (Deep Sea Rescue Vehicle, basically a mini sub that can attach to doomed submarines and take their crews off), doesn't it?" he asked.

"Ah, yes sir," the Comm man replied after checking with the ship.

"Alright, radio the destroyers Fist of Man and Protector, and send them to the Aerion fleet. Tell them to do whatever they can to help," he said.

*************************************************************

GHS Fist of Man

Captain Jonas Rozales got the orders and turned his ship towards the distressed Aerion fleet. As he approached, he ordered a message sent to them.

"Attention Aerion ships, this is the GHS Fist of Man. We see you're in a bad way, anything we can do to help? I've got two destroyers that can hold more people and a DSRV that can get to your sub."

"This is insanity!" Ambassador Frederico Galvantes yelled to the pair of other diplomats from Santo Hermando's SCDOT team, currently watching the big show of explosions and general anarchy growing in the streets.

"Sir, this building and the area around it is starting to become unsafe" Rosco, Galvante's first aide responded with haste.

"Sir, we'd better start moving away from this hotel, we need to get out of here and more than anything find a safe spot to hang around while our government sends somebody to help us" Maguerrez , the second aide suggested.

"The phonelines are dead, and I heard gunfire" Ambassador Galvantes replied.

Outside the hotel, a small group of people supporting the M.A.W.P were exchanging fire with the police, a pair of police cars were already up in flames while the roar of fighter jets filled the air.

"It's funny, this whole damn country is full of armies that do not belong here....and to think that we secretly helped the M.A.W.P" Galvantes cried out.

"It's time we go, mr. Ambassador" Maguerrez replied, looking grim but knowing that the three of them had to leave the area, since the hotel would be catching gunfire at any moment now.

The group of three walked past the empty halls, with a few Mazakian citizens taking cover from the fighting outside, things were rather quiet at this side of the hotel.

"Take those white plastic ID cards and hang them around your necks, that way those mad people outside will know that we belong to the SCDOT" Rosco informed the ambassador along with aide Maguerrez.

"If those lunatics start aiming at you while we work our way to the other hotel a few blocks south of here, display these badges" Maguerrez continued with his calm manner.

"Try to act smart, and keep your heads down comrades!" Maguerrez stretched the collar of his suit-jacket and walked to the door leading outside,

"What's keeping our forces anyway?" Ambassador Galvantes thought out loud while another hail of gunfire burst outside...

A pair of MI-8 transport helicopters neared the Mazakian coast, displaying the red banner of the peoples republic of Santo Hermando's national army painted on them.

"Looks like a hell of a show down there," the pilot inside the second chopper concluded to Colonel Armand Trotsky, the commander of this rather doomed rescue mission of the SCDOT members and the secret military advisors from Santo Hermando for the M.A.W.P.

"Sir, we can't get to the hotel, too much AA and gunfire below" the pilot reported further, "And there's a huge fleet of ships on the western side of the city" the co-pilot responded.

"Alright then, move these choppers to the closest safe area where we can do a insertion through the roofs" Colonel Trotsky ordered quickly, he glanced at the back of the chopper where a 16-man team from the national army's "black eages" special forces regiment were like sitting ducks.

Both of the helicopters moved through the central area of the Mazakian capital, where several small-scale battles were erupting, it seemed that no one paid no attention to this pair of helicopters while they advanced deeper into the capital and its bowels...

"Sir, there's a hospital to our starboard side, I'll move this chopper close to the roof of that building, and you can fast rope out of here"

"Agreed!" Colonel Trotsky confirmed the order.

The 12-men team from both of the helicopters had a mission now, although a very dangerous and a unclear one.

The fighting near the hospital was non-existent. As the helicopters dropped ropes to the hospitals roof, and men begun raining down in their camouflage uniforms and silenced weapons, this moment was close to something stolen from an action movie.

"We can't raise the military advisors on radio, HQ just informed us that they are hiding in the countryside" the co-pilot informed colonel Trotsky while he was two seconds away from fast-roping down to the roof himself.

"Copy that, we'll try to find out more of the situation on-site" Trotsky replied and jumped off from the helicopter and landed to the roof.

"Team Bravo and Alpha, occupy this building!" one of the sergeants' in the squad yelled as the soldiers begun advancing inside the hospital.

I propose we ignore all war action that has taken place thus far in this thread, then I'll begin a new, seperate threat for a restart of the conflict, I'll also put a poll in this new thread with 3 options, Communist, Loyalist, and Other, upon joining in that thread you will be REQUIRED to vote in the poll to state which side you favor, also, at the start of the fighting everyone involved will post their initial units that are active, and ready to fight, they will also state where they are, more details will be included in that thread, sound good?

P.S: The decisions of others aside, I'll most certainly end up ignoring the combat in this thread.
