Abortion Doctors Executed in Galdania!

Today in Galdania, five abortion docters, all from the same clinic, were charged with murder and executed by firing squad.
___
The reason for the execution was described in a government document obtained after the trial:
"These five men have engaged in a barbaric activity that is illegal in all countries run by sane, democratic governments. These men have deprived the world of a life; they have therefore been deprived of their lives. The punishment fitted the crime, and they will no longer plague our great nation. All who commit such actions should be punished as these monsters were."
---
The victim was 29 year-old Gloria Mzarakios, who was beaten and gagged before having her throat slashed. Mzarakios was the fiance of Kyrgi Stanipovstz. Stanipovstz wanted out of the marriage, and convinced his five friends, all abortion docters, like himself, to aid him in the deed. However, one of the men, whose name has not been released, turned himself and his collegues in to the police. The man who surrendered his associates was given a sentence of 16 years in the Kornyistanz Labour Camp.
While against abortion, the death penalty is also barbaric. We condemn the execution.

After evidence has been provided that the non-executed doctor did not actually have any pshysical involvement in killing the woman, he has been given a four-month detention in the Yvert minimum-security prison.

We belive that the death penelty is a sad choice for these men as you are condeming someone for something you end up doing to them, such hypocracy!
OOC: Why were they killing the woman not the fetus?

The rejistanian government condemns the execution. Second lentine Tedse Harik comments the issue like this: "Abortion is legal in many nations that respect the basic rights of democracy and humanity. To kill someone because he 'killed' a not-yet-sentient being is a barbaric action!"
We are not sure as to what the deranged Rejistanian government is talking about.
These men slit the throat of a 29-year-old teaching assistant. AQbortion is not only legal in Galdania, it is often FORCED on people who would have defective children.

The nation of Seph allows abortion in its provinces, but condemns the use of capitol punishment as an act which is hypocritic and fully without justification. It congratulates Galdania for capturing the perpetrators of this crime, but frowns upon the punishment that it has given them.

OOC: lol, catchy title, everyone thinks it's going to be an anit-abortion post and gets all defensive.
IC:
While we condemn the death penalty as an extreme punishment no longer need we respect the Galdanian government on their stance toward murder. The fact that these people were doctors makes no impact on the fact that they murdered a 29 year old woman.
We must also praise the leniancy given to the doctor who took no part in this crime.

Well, he sat there with his eyes covered. But he turned them in the next day, so it's okay, I suppose.
They Who Rule The World In Majesty endorse the punishment, but think that the crime was petty.

BTW, my intention WAS to incite anger through the title.
The death penalty is barbaric and hypocritical. What will it accomplish that life sentence can't? When a government approves of the execution of a murderer/murderers they lower themselves to the ethical level of that killer/killers. The Democratic Republic of Dolvich condemns the execution.

A life sentence limits the amount of pain we can bring to the guilty. It also takes food to feed them, food which could go to feed the many, many mouths of galdania's innocent.
If we were to simply send them to prison, there would probably be some Human Rights Violations, as our nation is freezing cold, and we don't really heat our prison. That's right, prison. Not prisons, prison. We have one. And it's hell on earth.
Only one prison? Don't you have gulags or something? Not that I approve of such things, but why didn't you send them there? Maybe they could have given something back to society if you gave them a chance. They were doctors. Personally I would have given them a punishment that unconditionally forced them to use their education and skills to benefit my society, even if it was in prison. The loss of several doctors, regardless of their crimes, is a great loss to any society.
Green Iceland condemns abortion, and only uses execution in the most extreme cases (as in, you have to be like the Beltway Snipers or Bin Laden or Tim McVeigh before you get it) and therefore condemns this execution.
Dam. My country believes that people should be executed for murder, repeat rape, and suicide. Abortion is one of those issues where the dethpenalty should not be employed. A fine and prison time is the maximum penalty, if any (depending upon the situation) that should be used.

IS ANYONE READING MY POST!!!!?!?!??!?!?
ABORTION IS NOT A CRIME IN GALDANIA! The fact that these men were abortion doctors has nothing to do with the fact that they murdered a TWENTY-NINE year old WOMAN. SHE WAS NOT A FETUS THAT WAS TERMINATED! She was a woman whose throat was slashed by her fiance and his friends!

We do of course have six labour camps. But still, they were just doctors. We have plenty of doctors. What Galdania needs is FARMERS. We have hardly anyone working the fields anymore, so we import all our wheat!
We execute all abortionists. Doctors, and the women.

That is truly horrible.
We FORCE abortions on many people, weather they want them or not.

  How is one killing justifing another? I agree with Nanka I dislike what you did. You have no authority (well you do ) to tell some woman ( who might have been raped) go have the kid that might end your life. What if she can't support it? Biologically and finacially.
Some people LIKE to kill people an animals. That is why we have terrorists

You people aren't even reading what I post! You're reading only what you want to read!
Besides, our social system doesn't work like a western one. Everyone has the same stuff, so 'fiancially' is not mattering.

Seph condems both of your states actions. Aquilla for its hypocrisy and disregard for human life, and Galdania for its breaches of human rights.
