As the Imperial court comes to a silence, the Imperial Judge gazes into the eyes of Emperor Edwin Fernandez the 2nd, who was arrested by his own Imperial Guards for numerous crimes.
As he begins to open his mouth to speak, the court watches in terror, "Did I not say our empire would prosper?" Edwin Fernandez said in confidence. The court baffled stayed in silence. "How dare I, Emperor of Spain, be arrested by my own guards...for what? Trying to help our nation?" Before the Emperor could finish, an angry citizen yelled, "Help us? You've done nothing but oppress us! I myself have seen brothers vanish at night, friends executed, children thrown into military camps, you're nothing but a fascist dictator!"
The man was named Carl Vasquez, a Christian, whose uncle was a priest, which was executed by Edwin's soldiers. "You've executed priests, burned down churches, and outlawed every religion in Spain! I hate you, and I hope the court has you executed!"
As some in the court room burst in tears by the memories of Edwin's Fascist regime which has spilled blood in the streets of Spain for 5 yrs. Edwin sitting down with an evil smile in his face said "As I've said, I was simply trying to have our nation prosper. Face it, religion keeps mankind from reaching true greatness and I, I was simply eliminating religion for this cause."
As another man jumped out of his seat in tears, he yelled, "What about all the fascist laws? The Genocide of Muslims and Homosexuals? You not only killed most of my friends, but you murdered my lover of 9 Yrs for nothing!"
Edwin yelled, "Sympathy for scum? Your kind is the plague of this planet. People you need to realize that certain rights and freedoms must be eliminated for greatness. Tell me, has the Economy not boomed during my rule? Has Poverty become nearly unheard of in our nation? Have I not made every school in Spain state of the art? You people are ungrateful. You've not appreciated anything I've done to this great Nation!"
Those words infuriated the courtroom, to the extent that the Imperial Judge had to call a recess until tomorrow morning.
Could this oppressive rule finally come to an end? Can Freedom finally be restored back to Spain?
