Foundation:Revolt
140 A.C. by the Tirah calender, 140 years after the colony on the third planet of the Tirah system had been colonized and after nearly 80 years of increasing opression by the The Tirah Colonial Allaince and the Mega Corporation Geran corp that colonists of the Tirah colony finally rose up in general revolt, from the farmers and woodsmen of the countryside, to the craftsmen and small merchants of the towns to the miners of the Gerexi mines, to even the solders and saliors of the colonial forces were sick of being treated worse than a Malkoran slave's dog.
The uprising had come as a shock to the chief Tirah Colonial officals and to the Tirah Colonial Allaince Troops when local colonal troops burst their headquarters and into the main barracks arrested them. At the Geran corp. Planetry headquarters armed miners stormed the place and beheaded the cheif Geran Corp. offical and paraded his head though the mining city. In the towns and villages Tirah Colonial allaince and Geran Corp officals were seized and thrown into jails by armed mobs local police forces. In 12 hours the Tirah Colonial Allaince and Geran Corp Presence on the planet had been eliminated. In 24 hours, once things calmed down, the colonial forces, the miners, farmers and other groups got together and formed an provencial council to form a new government.
Meanwhile back on Earth the Tirah Colonial Allaince Tricounsulate quickly meet after the news of the revolt arrived and ordered that the Rebellon be put down at once and authurized the Tirah Colonial Allaince Space forces and The Tordoran Space Navy to put down the revolt. In Tordor, the Chairman of Geran Corp ordered that Security forces to be sent to regain control of the extremely Valuable and profitable Gerexi mines. The War for Tirah was about to began, the colony was too valuable to lose for the Tirah Colonial Allaince and for the Mega corporation, Geran Corp. They do what ever it took to regain control.
Grand Marshal Keran Mishimi read her orders. She Command personally an fleet being sent to put down a revolt in the Tirah system, she was to aid the Tirah Colonial Allaince, of which Todor was a member, fleet put down the revolt at all costs. It was the only known system outside of Teritoran where Gerexi could be easly mined and not have to be made in expensively in factories. The Colony had to be recaptured and the revolt put down. she gave out her orders and after gathering together a battle fleet set a course for the Tirah system.
At the same time in Earth Orbit around the a Tirah Colonial allaince fleet consisting of Tordoran cast off warships gathered and set a course for Tirah with transport ships carrying 80,000 Space Marines.
48 hours after the revolt, the council elects General Ivan Baras Grand Duke of Tirah and commander of the Tirah's forces. The proclamed Grand Duke Ivan sets out to prepare the defenses agaist the forces he knows is coming. the Colonial allaince would not allow such a valuable colony to simply break away, they would seek to put it down. He began to make plans and give orders for the defense of Tirah but it didn't look good. Tirah had one massively outdated Battlecruiser that was barely intersellar travel worthy, 250 vastly outdated starfighters and the orbital defense station was also outdated, all the weaponary and equipment was cast offs of the Tirah Colonial allainces forces which were cast offs of the Tordoran Miltary, an imporant member of the Tirah Colonial allaince and whos fleet would likely be involed. If this war was to be one it would be on the ground and hoping someone would help Tirah agaist the Alliance. Of course ground warfare had its own dangers, Tirah had only 10,000 trained troops who was trained by the people they were facing and 70,000 miltia which would not likely be much good in a battle. He sighed and continued to plan into the night.
9 light years from the Tirah system, three weeks after the Tirah revolt began, a fleet was gathering and forming as the Tordoran space navy fleet and the Tirah Colonial Allaince fleet commanders organized their fleets into one and made plans for subjagationing the colony back under control. After formaliting their plan and completeling the organization of their fleet they set a dead line for the attack, one more week to let the rebels let down their feeble guard then they would strike.
Grand Duke Ivan read the report and spoke to his command staff, he was in what was the former Colonial governors palace and now the current defalt headquarters of the new government. So the Enemy had arrived, that mean they would be coming soon. "So it begans. is all ready?"
A Man spoke. "Yes, all is ready to carry out your plan."
Grand Duke Ivan. "Good, the Tordorans have enemies expecally and since they are the only imporant member of the Tirah colonial alliance. I am sure someone would be willing to help us if this goes on long enough for it to catch someones attention and my plan will insure our forces will not be wiped out and we can continue the fight. Now go to your commands."
The command Staff saluted and left the room. Grand Duke Ivan sighed, it would be a long struggle if nobody came to their aid but he did not want to think about it.
The Great fleet arrived in the Tirah system, cosisting of Tordoran navy vessels of a Queen Seria class Battle Cruiser, 6 Doranx Class Destroyers, 9 Lerxi Class Frigates, 12 Jeri Class Corvettes, 30 Yuri class Patrol ships, the other part of the fleet was Tirah Colonial Alliance SF ships which were ships that had been retired from Tordoran service and given to the allaince which Tordor dominated but pretended not to. There was one King Tordor Class Battlecruiser, 3 Geran class destroyers, 6 Tordora Class Frigates and 9 Yura Class Corvettes. They moved slowly towards Tirah 3 and its defenses, they had all the time in the galaxy and they were working on intimdation of the enemy.
The only thing that stood in this fleets way was a single Battle Cruiser, The Gereni, a Battle Cruiser that so outdated that vistors to the system was shocked to even see it, all the other ships of its class had even left the reserves and had been dismantled. Also defending the system was 250 Geran class Space fighters, a near space fighter That was outdated by even backwords space nations based at the Orbital defense Station, a station so dated it used first generation sublight missiles and pojectile self defense weapons. The Tirah forces knew they could not defeat the enemy if they had sent even one ship, not in space. However they were going to delay the enemy as long as possable. The Aged Gereni set a course for the fleet followed by the Near space fighters.
Grand Marshal Keran Mishimi didn't even bother saluting the courage of her enemy for attacking even though they had no way to win. She merely laughed and looked at her TCA Counter part. "Now the fun begans." She frowned suddenly as she stared at the moniter. "Hmm, those ships are not sposse in system." She was refering to several Merchant ships and other civilian ships in the system. She gave the order and a dozen Patrol ships broke away from the fleet to destroy the civilian vessels, it wouldn't do allow them to spreed the news of the revolt if they hadn't alrightly so they had to die.
The Gereni and the fighters began their attack agaist the massed TCAn Fleet in a brave but futile effort attacking with lasers and launching its primitve sublight missiles and with the outdated fighters swarming towards the enemy ships. meanwhile the ODS prepared to defend the Planet as long as it could, and on the ground Tirahi forces prepared for their defensive war agaist the coming forces, following Grand Duke Ivans plans for a runing battle, hit and runs and avoiding pitched battles, they were going to make the TCA pay dearly for returning and they were not about to give in and surrender to die agonizing deaths expecally as it was well known what the Tordorans liked to do to prisionsers of war and rebels and death in battle was much preferable.
The TCA Fleet Opened fire on the Gereni and accompaning fighters in a Barrage of heavy laser fire, sublight missiles and antistar fighter laser fire, it was like a mouse taking on a pride of lions, brave, worthy of song and poetry but futile. Meanwhile the patrol ships that broke away from the fleet reached the foreign civilian ships and opened fire on them intent on destorying them before they could leave the system with the news of the revolt and the invasion to take back the revolting colony.
After ten minutes the shields on the Gereni gave way and soon though the ship fired back its weaponary was soon mostly destroyed and 90% of the was dead when the captain finally ordered the reactors to be set to overload and ordered the ship to directed to rammed into one of the enemy ships. Picking up momentam the Gereni set a course for one of the enemy Battle Cruisers and it was question wither the ship would explode first before it reached the Battle cruiser or would it be destroyed as the few remaining crew made their peace with god and waited for the end.
Grand Marshal Keran Mishimi Let lose a string of curses. "Their insane. Helmsman get us out of here thats..." She never finished as the Gereni crashed into her battle Cruiser killing her and everyone aboard and leaving the fleet without its commanders and throwing it into confusion and chaos as the TCA's Admiral's second in command aboard the other Battle Cruiser tried to restore order to the fleet.
Meanwhile all the Tirahi star fighters had been wiped out by the enemy fleet which was in disorder after the lost of the TCA Admiral and the Tordoran Grand Marshal. The Tirahi however didn't expect that to last long, the enemy would reorangize and be now likely enraged. the Orbital Defense Station prepared for the enemies coming for what would likely be a short battle.
The TCA rear Admiral, Torsa got the fleet back and order and soon it was heading towards Tirah 3 again and Rea admiral Torsa was enraged that the rebels had dared to do such a thing. When they came into range they opened on the orbital defense station and began loading the landing ships to move in the troops. Rear Admiral Torsa gave the orders that no matter what the troops did to the Tirah, they would not be punished, they had free reign to do what ever they wanted. Rape, murder, pillage, it didn't matter they were going to break the Tirah so they would never try to break away again, even if they had depopulate the planet and move in new colonists to mine Gerexi.
The Tirah Orbital defense station was soon reduced to an high orbital wreck by the fleets fire and down below on the planet, the defending troops prepared for the oncoming enemy onslaught and hoped that Grand Duke Ivan's plan would work.
The TCA Fleet moved into high Orbit around Tirah three as they continued to send Troops transports Planetside, landing at the space port they poured out and secured the capital, killing anyone who even gave verbal opossion and soon as more transports landed thousands of troops entered the city and more were coming.

Meanwhile the Tordoran miltia had retreated to the forests and hills and the Free Tirah soldiers had retreated to preprared and hidden bases and the underground tunnels left over from the bugs, this was part of Duke Ivan's plan, he knew that the only way they could win was to fight an uncovenital war, he would fight pitched battles only when he thought he could win otherwise he would make this war drag out as long as possable intil the enemy quit or someone came to the rebel's aid and helped them to win.
Rear Admiral Torsa snarled in his admirals quarters, the bloody rebels had taken to the countryside and was picking off his troops but refusing to fight a pitched battle and after a week of such things he had lost 100 men and only killed two score of the rebels. He had to get the rebels to come out to fight. However idea came to him, it was harsher than anything else they had been doing and it would likely anger some space nations that was not freindly to some of the members of the TCA but it would break the rebels. He smiled cruelly and prepared the orders.
A day Later a Intersolar broadcast was made by Rear Admiral Torsa. "To the rebel forces on Tirah and their proclamed Grand Duke. Hear this, if you do not surrender in 48 Hours, 10,000 of the women and childern of your fellow colonists will be excuted by impaling on rounded stakes and 1,000 will be excuted for every hour afterwards. Their lives are in your hands." He paused and continued "And in case you don't think I am serious I will give you taste of what is coming" The broadcast changes and shows a feild and 500 women and childern who are then impaled on rounded stakes then it goes on as they slowly die kicking on the stakes then it shows the Rear Admiral Again. "Remember 48 hours then kill the 10,000 and a thousand for every hour afterwards." The broadcast ends.
After the broadcast was made the remaining 32,000 Space marines were send down to the planet and began rounding up women and childern to be excuted. 2,000 Space Marines were shot on the spot for refusing orders however by their officers before the rest carried out the orders.
Grand Duke Ivan looked pale, he knew the enemy was monsterious but to do this... What made this worse was that the enemy proved they would do it and even worse it was likely that they might still kill the people even if the Tirah forces surrendered, they would likely kill everyone surrendered and many more people. either way many people would be slaughtered by the enemy.
Rear Admiral Torsa sat back on the admiral's seat of his flagship and sipped champane, he had the enemy right where he wanted them now. He gave an order to an aide. "When the rebel surrender and give up their arms, kill them all as well as the prisoners and while your at it kill 90,000 more civilians as an example of what happens to those who rebel." The aide looked pale but sent out the order. Rear Admiral Torsa smiled, he could see his future getting brighter and he would insure that these Tirah would never even concider rebeling again. Nobody could stop him now, nobody.
After a short debate, the Tirah rebels came out from their hiding places and surrendered to the enemy forces 12 hours before the dead line was reached.
After the Tirah rebels surrendered and they were disarmed they were led to a field and all 80,000 soilders were Impaled on stakes and left to rot. Impaled with them were the 10,000 Civilians who had been rounded up, killed anyway even though the Tirah rebels surrendered. Then the Tirah Colonal allaince troops moved though the colony and began a roundin up and guning down civilians intil the death toll reached 90,000. Grand Duke Ivan and the provinal council were however not killed but merely detained for a public show trial back on earth. Rear Admiral Torsa most pleased indeed as would be his masters he belived as the rebellion was crushed.
