War Plans with Aperin Declassified
Since the Ruhrian Civil War, the DIA (Defence Intelligence Agency) had been working closely with the Department of Defence on a plan for long term combat with the CACE dominated Aperin region. After a prolonged wargames period and the loss of the VTOL assault carrier RNS James R. Tolkin, further planning was ordered an allied assault on the region.
After much debate in the Defence Cabinet and with close allies, the Ruhrian DIA has declassified its plans of a war with Aperin which was evidently scheduled to take place in Febraury of 2004 (IRL). The war with the planned-economy states would have been costly and worthless to the Ruhrian future.
From this point on, CACE will be indefinitely ignored on the gounds of 'I really don't care any more.'

OK. We don't like war anyway.
I dislike war, unless it is for a just cause concerning human or democratic rights.

OOC: What exactly were the plans?

I cannot say, that remains to Ruhr. I never give away my doctrine of warfare.
EDIT:
Actually, just quite a bit of naval attacks all over, and mopping up with airstrikes.

Wait, are you 'ignoring them' or IGNORE!ing them?

!G|\|0r!|\|g them. As in they do not exist to Ruhr.

On what grounds?
On what grounds?
On the grounds that after three attempts to RP with them, it turns out in a bitchfest that doesn't exist.

O...I suppose that seems acceptable...
ooc: It's perfectly acceptable. In all likelihood, the February invasion would have been ignored by us, on the grounds that we aren't interested in that kind of thing. Thanks. We appreciate it, really.

No this one would have been consentual. I had a bunch of buildup plots :)
Buildup plots are fine-- plot away to your heart's content, knock our socks off with surprises, but we do ask that if people want to wage wars with us, you do ask us first if we have time for/are interested in such a thing. It's only reasonable. War RP is not trivial, and it should really have all player's interest and assent.
