Diplomatic Quarter in Nanakaland Created!
Today in Nanakaland, Vice President Fredrick Roberts opened a Diplomatic Quarter in Nanakaland, Nanakapolis. Embasies will now be in the road where Government Castle and Fort Nanaka is (Nanaka Avenue). Living areas for the diplomats will be further down the road. If more room is required, we will expand the DQ to neighboring blocks. Nations in my region and my other allies are the first to be able to build new embasies in the Diplomatic Quarter.

On a side note, all of the places are labeled plots on my map because you must send embassy crew over first to have a building. The building is done in your nation's style if you send a crew for it. The areas are big, but dwarfed by the nearby fort and castle. Pick a number of an unused plot to get an area to build an embassy. This map is a draft - more will be added to it.

May NRBC set up an embassy in Nanakaland?

Frog announces new ambassador to Nanakaland

In light of the untimely death by golf ball of Shelby Montparassat, former ambassador to Nanakaland, Lord High Executor Frog has appointed Marshall Dupond as the new ambassador to Nanakaland.

As you Nanakaland is one of the closest allies of the NMS, and therefore the selection of our ambassador was crucial. Dupond has "served with distinction" in negociations with the rebellion in progress in Gault and Mont-Ange, managing to keep the rebels from storming the last goverment outposts until such time as reinforcements could be brought in for the ongoing comapign. "Thanks to him," said Frog, "Gault and Mont-Ange has not returned to piracy as they had done before, but rather will remain safe for all."

Dupond graduated from Frog's Academy with honors, and then served as part of the consular staff in Gault and Mont-Ange. When the consul was shot by rebels while touring the island (triggering the rebellion), Dupond took over and managed to keep the flag on the island until reinforcements were sent and the rebels could be fought on their own terms.

In other news yesterday, General de Boulogne reported a resounding victory over forces of the Nau and Nevau pirate clans at Boudoiun. The combined pirate forces had attempted a flanking attack but fell back in disarray. de Boulogne then managed to cut off a part of the Nevau forces and force them to lay down their arms.

Yes.

We don't think this is a very bright idea. Although keeping diplomats safe is easier by isolating their workplace, there are too many drawbacks to this approach. When we set up diplomatic representation in a country, we like to give the impression that we know what's going on in its society. To do that, we set up the embassy near a shopping district, theatre or other place of public interest so that it's easier for the common people to do business there. We like to serve the public first and foremost.

Ineptia requests that a large diplomatic complex be set aside within this zone for nations of The Heartland to set up embassies. We welcome this chance to re-establish ties with the honorable Nanakaland, and understand that our quarters will be outside of the "ally" zone.

You would be considered an ally and, if you want, can get the plot to the left of New Montreal States (NMS), which is a nice, large, corner plot (perfect for building an embassy.

We will take the Embassy next to Ineptia, as we are in the Heartland and no other heartland nations seem to have taken that spot.

The Ambassador, the newly appointed Gregory Harris, and his staff and detachments of Texarnican Marines(a platoon of marines is standard practice to every embassy since the Cokekilan Hostage Incident. One platoon of Texarnican Marines is about 30 soldiers) are being sent to Nanakaland as we speak.

Consider it done. From now on, I'll update the map once every two people sign up. Tomorrow, the nations that sent their crew will have embassies. That gives enough time for the construction.

In an effort to set up and improve relations between New Genoa and the esteemed Nanakaland, President Alex Carter with the approval of the New Genoese Senate and House of Representatives, has lodged a request to build a New Genoese embassy complex on Nanaka Avenue -- preferably Plot One.

We anxiously are awaiting your response. If accepted, a construction crew will leave New Genoa to build the embassy. May our two nations continue to prosper.

We thank Nanakaland greatly! Construction crews are already assembling to leave New Genoa International Airport for Nanakapolis. We hope our relations improve furthermore with the establishment of this embassy, and we offer Nanakaland an oppurtunity to build their own embassy in the capital city of our nation, New Genoa, which is located in the center of the southern coast of New Genoa Island.

We are also interested in opening trade relations with Nanakaland. New Genoa offers many types of exports, including: lavish convertible automobiles, delicious mangoes, raw materials, and various other assortments of consumer goods. What we ask for in return would mostly be crude oil, timber, etc.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has selected Plot 2 as the primary candidate for the location of our embassy. We'll send our own construction crew, in order to ease the load on your own builders, who will doubtless be very busy.

Ineptia, New Genoa, and Copiosa Soctia now have built embassies in Nanakaland because they've sent their crews, etc... If you wish to have an embassy instead of just an empty plot, send a crew or request Nanakaland to build one. So far, I have three embassies, seven plots reserved for embassies, three plots for housing, and a plot reserved for schooling. Construction crews are working on the housing because of the three new embassies.

We are pleased to announce that the construction process of the New Genoese embassy in Nanakaland is going exceedingly well. Construction crews have arrived and already a blueprint has been drafted. The actual construction is to begin within the next five days as equipment is gathered and the blueprint is tweaked.

An ambassador has yet to be appointed, but President Carter assures you all that once the construction is finished, an ambassador along with a diplomatic staff and a small Marine escort (for security purposes of course) will be selected to serve in the New Genoese embassy in Nanakapolis.

Furthermore, the details of Nanakaland's embassy in New Genoa need to be confirmed. We have two plots available -- one in the capital city of New Genoa and one in the reknowned and beautiful city of Southport. Both plots are near government establishments, with the New Genoa one being five plots down on the street on the left side of the White House. The Southport embassy plot that is open is one street behind the Governoral Building, three plots down from the right.

Omzian Democratic Federal Republic is interested to estabilish a relation with the nation of Nanakaland, as we open up to the world and continues to participate in the international community. As we see the building of an embassy would be the start of the estabilishment of this beginning of diplomatic relationship, we would like to send a small diplomatic team from the Diplomatic Corps. Based on this "plot" form, we would perfer Plot 2 -- if it is unavailable, 9.

Furthermore, we wonder if the cost of building the embassy will be provided by us or not. In return, we will offer a space for Nanakaland in the Osaria Diplomatic Zone -- also called "Embassy Quarters".
