The peace loving and democratic nation of the Former Mordorians is suffering depradations at the hands of enemy states jealous of our progressive policies. Elven spymasters currently seek to foment rebellion and terrorism on our borders in alliance with known insurgents. Their military puppets launch unprovoked aerial bombardments on territory claimed by the Protectorate.
While our Master, the Powerful, and Justly Wrathful One, requires no assistance in rebuffing the stings of these gnats, his compassion moves him to warn all nations of this unprovoked assault.
Those who wish to ally with the Protectorate of Former Mordorians can be assured of strength through unity, and the generous gifts of the Creator of Stars.

OOC lol, i've been following the Edge of Shadow thread and this is the most hypocritical announcement i've ever seen - no offence to Former Modorians, it seems to be very in character for them!!

Our beloved and respected servant Thrand, Captain of the forces of law and order in the free city of Kadursk has barely survived the attack of a stealthy assassin armed with an advanced Railgun. His life still hangs in the balance while the prayers of our population are raised for his recovery.
This callous and cowardly attack, designed to destroy the precarious balance of peace in our region was launched a bare day after independent reporters were shown round the devastating wreckage of a village of peaceful foresters massacred by brutal troops utilising pulse rifles and - for their cruel entertainment - deadly archery upon the captive non combatants.
Our heroic forces are even now at work in Kadursk to bring to justice the perpetrators of these foul crimes. We ask for no assistance from those nations too cowardly to stand for justice, only that we are allowed to pursue our rightful cause to the ultimate conclusion.
