What happened to the old alliances like the ACC and which alliances are the main ones now?

The ALL is probably the most powerful (over 5,000 nations, I think), although it doesn't really do much.

I think the reason it doesn't do much is that it's made up of several smaller organizations (the ACC, MACTO with over 384 members, North America with 249 members, and The West Pacific with 7,262 members), each large enough to defend itself.
