Galdanian Premier Bolozof Velasgo has signed a bill passed by parliament to legalise private companies in Galdania, be they foreign or Galdanian-owned. However, many view this as a farce, as the bill makes it nearly impossible for private corporations to prosper. Some parts of the bill indicate that:
-Any corporations selling a product will be subject to 99.4% tax on all profits by the People.
-Upon applying for a Private Interest License, the government must be paid $700 million dollers. The license must be renewed for $5 million every year to stay in business.
-Foreign companies must pay 6.3 BILLION dollers for a permanent liscense to own and manage a company in Galdania.
NOTE: At the discretion of the government, these price amounts may be changed.
The government estimates that approximately 0 private corporations will exist in Galdania next year.
