The government of Jeruselem has commenced a quest to find the Ark of the Covenant, a sacred relic lost to the Jews after the Babylonian invasion in ancient times. The Ethiopians claim to have the artifact in their possesion, but our experts have dismissed their claims.

Actually, I believe one of the old GDODAD members has it already. Either that or one of the Russian ones. It was RPed out in Mid-March.

You do know that anyone who touched it (According to legend) that was not appointed by God would die. It is the most sacred and holy artifact in the world (mabey tied with the holy grail (the goblet jesus drank from at the last supper)).

That didn't stop the Babylonians from stealing it, did it? Technically it's a guilded wooden box with holy document in it.
How could the babylonians steal Christ's cup when their empire was wiped out generations before his incarnation?

Oops! Sorry I should have realised that... mind you the thought of a secret group of surviving Babylonian agents living in a secret city somewhere only venturing out to steal relics is quite attractive. Good luck with your quests! :D
