Andaman and Nicobar

Has Christian President Eustace Brown finally decided to be rid of the nation's Muslim and Hindu populations? No! The Nicobar Islands Territory is to be liberated following the collapse of Azazia!
Some years ago during the troubled early days of Brown's government the then Nicobar Islands became tangled in a two-fronted war when the coast guard fired upon an Azazian freighter mistakenly thought to be shipping arms to TNI's arch nemesis communist Beth Gellert. BG had already declared war on TNI after Brown annexed the Parmis Archipelago east of the British Indian Ocean Territory, with no consultation from the tiny native population.
Communist landings on the archipelago coincided with a full scale Azazian invasion of The Nicobar Islands, and a bloody battle was fought for the eastern most island in the chain. Withdrawing all forces from Parmis after a brief fire-fight constituted The Nicobarese Marines' first ever military defeat. The second came closer to home as an Indian unit serving with the Nicobarese mutinied against its heavy-handed western officers, enabling the Azazians to capture the town of Brownabad.
Azazia had sought to bring down President Brown and looked unstoppable until Brown negotiated an unfavourable peace, relinquishing five islands in the Nicobarese chain and giving over significant oil reserves to the Azazians.
It was during this time that Nicobar first encountered the Drakonian Imperium, as one of that nation's citizens was mistakenly killed by Nicobarese security forces.
It is a testimony, says Mr.Giles, to the President's diplomatic skill that he survived, and that Nicobar made an ally of Drakonia where others would have made an enemy.
Directly following the conflict with Azazia The Nicobar Islands made official its unity with the Andaman Islands (ooc:as if the latter had any choice ;) ) and the Freely (cough) Incorporated States of Andaman and Nicobar, or ISAN (eye-san), was born.
For years the Nicobarese have awaited reunification with their eastern cousins, President Brown periodically posturing against the Azazian territories as ISAN's power grew.
With the Azazians gone, there is nothing standing in the way of reunification, and the Nicobarese Marines this morning planted the flag in Brownabad.
Reports from less reliable news sources indicating resistance by Hindu gunmen associated with the infamous mutiny are of course misinterpretations of celebratory gunfire.
In related news FBCOil shares jumped this morning with news of the company's take-over of former Azazian assets, estimated to be worth almost 20% of the entire west Nicobarese field..
(sorry about the length of that! We've been waiting since this nation was a few days old for the re-unification of our islands!)
