Reprint of an open letter by Quonzian Foreign Minister Waldo which appeared in the Quonza Free City Press
Dear Sir,
It is with deep regret that I, as foreign minister of Quonza, must attempt to bring a very important issue to ahead. The continued and increasingly frequent attacks by the rebels on our elected government's facilities cannot, and will no longer, be tolerated further.
However, recent intelligance reports suggest that it is not only dissillusioned Quonzians that are partakeing in these violent and illegal activities, but also citizens of our neighbouring nation Mannera. These reports further suggest that Maneera is attempting to destabilize our fldgling nation by funding the rebels and supplying them with military assets. While this has been the subject of rumour for a number of weeks, it is my duty to confirm our own suspicions of Maneeran involvement in the crimes against Quonza committed by the rebels.
In light of this, I hereby call for my Maneeran counterpart, Foreign Minister Fetladral, to come forward and establish an open dialogue between our newborn nations so that further violence can be averted and allow to peace to return to Quonza.
