New Laws.
Greetings fellow nations of the world, I come to you with news of two new laws passed today in the Republic of Mazakia, the first law declares it to be illegal for women to have combat jobs in the Armed Forces of our nation, this is for their own security, the second law dictates that all Mazakian citizens, upon reaching the age of 18, are to undergo a year's worth of training, and then serve one year in the Armed Forces, this is to make sure we are better able to maintain our sovereignty.

The Nation of Xrobb respects your decision, and then laughs at it. You choice to send a pretty good amount into the military is going to severly hurt your economy, and it will undoubtedly increase the size of your government over your people. If these are the goals you wish to achieve, then you've made the right choice, if not... well, then it's not too late to change it back.
We are already debating changing the second law, but please, don't just go laughing at people, plenty of nations do this are have fine conomies, and their people have plenty of freedoms.
Update: The second law has been changed, persons must take a test to prove they are skilled enough to serve in the Armed Forces, if not, they are not required to serve.
