2: because your actual post has nothing to do with godmodding, which means that you have said or done something impossible(such as deploying 3 million troops across the world instantaniously)

Well...theres a GDP calculator to figure out your annual budget, defense spending, etc...http://www.esyn.org/SOTA/NationStates.html and you can buy stuff from storefronts with your budget...(if you buy guns for instance, they'll be out of your defense budget)

Godmodding is when you say something that's in-character that's impossible. For instance, a strong 2 billion population country is attacking a new nation, when suddenly the new nation pulls out 5,000 JSF's and 20,000 tanks and starts to push them back. That's godmodding.

As for military, I think that should be around 5% of your population.
