***WARNING!*** THE UNIVERSAL EXPLORATION AND RESEARCH FLEET IS FOR SPACE-TECH NATIONS ONLY!
The Foe Hammer Aeronautics and Space Corporation, in conjunction with the Foe Hammer Government, is producing 12 vessels solely for the exploration and research of our vast universe.
To honor the great scientist and explorer, the vessels have been dubbed Magellan-class Research and Exploration Cruisers, or RECs.
Each REC is 1400 meters long, 250 meters wide and 325 meters tall.
Defense-only weapons on the REC consists of three Revere-class Missle Launchers, three Heavy-duty Laser Cannons, two Magnetic Accelerator Cannons and three Underside Ion Cannons.
Each REC is equipped with two F-741 Fusion Engines and one Xanthalian FTL Drive (Will be installed on all constructed and CUC (currently under construction) RECs in two years).
A standard REC will contain one wing (144
) of Galileo-class Recon Air/Spacecraft, a 10-meter long Recon jet, complete with all necessary sensors.

No, the systems onboard this REC are classified, and extremely top-secret. All further information is classified to anyone except high-ranking Generals, Admirals, the Empress herself, and other high-ranking individuals.
We are providing Foe Hammer with a single Quantum Slipstream drive immediately to test and optimise with their systems while our replacement project progresses. The remaining drives will be delivered on time.

Thank you. We've just received them, and it has been installed on the prototype.
We'll transmit the Video images now. We've set up cameras around Earth and Cameras around the Nordlund System.
The Prototype Magellan sits orbiting over Earth. The massive ship turns, aiming for the Nordlund system, a few Lightyears away. Suddenly, a large flash is emitted from the rear of the vessel, engulfing the Magellan prototype. The ship disappears, and not even 1/1000th of a fraction of a second later, the large vessel appears on the camera in the Nordlund system.
Excellent, the Quantum Slipstream drives work excellently. Once again, thank you. We're sending a "personal" greeting card from the Empress.

All Magellan-class REC's are now constructed (REC's were built side-by-side), all fighters and probes are built and loaded, the crews are ready, the exploration fleets are ready, and the RECs will weigh anchor in one year.

OOC: Whats the point in Inviting others to explore the universe. With that drive of yours...you'll have it done in a few years. I mean...god...five -billion- time the speed of light? I've heard of compensation...but that's just ridiculous.

Xanthal: Your sale of the drives is aid enough.
Revenia: Always use the buddy system! LOL. I think Xanthal pretty much raped every level of reality, but he played it cool, spent time researching, informed investors step-by-step, etc.
Why explore the universe alone when you can have others along for the ride? If your country explored beyond this universe with one of the top Naval Armadas of this universe, you'd have a damn good chance of finding VERY valuable things, such as other universes, systems, planets, etc.
