While producing a new Fusion Engine to be used on galactic exploration vessels, Foe Hammer Engineering Institute has run into a few snags.
In order for the galactic exploration vessels to get any work done before it's crew expires, FHEI is putting out a request to all space nations for aid in researching possible engines and power sources for FTL travel.
Any nation aiding research will receive many rewards, such as money, ships, and possibly even the rights to a planet in the Nordlund system.

Hmm. Based on my business partner's notes, I can say we can refit each ship for $250 million. We can also sell you entire spaceframes "full up".....

The ZDF: your ships can go upwards of one million c.?!That is not uncommon... It sounds like a big number, but in actuallity it is pretty slow when compared to intergalactic nations.
We have territories spanning the galaxy, and traffic over hot trade routes.
And FYI, we are about 45,000 LY from Sol... so we kinda NEED Uber FTLs ;)

Xanthal is willing to provide Foe Hammer with all of its currently used Quantum Slipstream drives and all the plans and blueprints thereof once our new models have been completed. We ask only $10,000 per drive, with our assurance that they are all of the highest quality and in working order. By the time the replacement process is complete we will have over 50,000 of the old drives, so you can buy as many of them as you want.

904 drives are required. $9,040,000 total.
We should be able to get them all out to you within four years (days), mabye three. When the shipment is ready we will inform you right away. The convoy carrying the drives will be escorted by several warships to guard against pirates (this is, after all, valuable cargo). Once it arrives at the port you will be picking up the goods in, you will be allowed to inspect the drives. If they meet with your satisfaction (as we're sure they will) you will be allowed to offload them as soon as you wire the amount due to the Xanthalian government.
