The Than Prince dies. The Principality collapses.
The Than Prince died this morning, leaving the Than system in anarchy with no system for determining succession. Several communications links have been opened by civilian Than cought in the chaos imploring the Xanthalian Republic for help.

The united states of world wide allies, gives condolences to your lost and are willing to send 1000 peacekeepers to your capital city to try and stop the chaos.

We will break the chaos among you and help you to become whole again. The Than that fled the evil Prince will be returned to their homes and they will help you as well. We will not rest until all Than are once again able to stand as the great race that they are. For now until you decide otherwise, the Than is now once again a part of the Socialist Republic of Xanthal.
Kecha: No one seems to know for sure, but rumor has it that he was shot through the head by one of his own bodyguards.
World wide allies: There is no need to fear for us, the Republic is amongst us once again. We made the mistake of leaving once, never again. They will nurture us and care for us until we can stand proud as Than again. When that great day comes, we will formally join the Republic.
This is The Than's last post. The Than system and everything in it is once again a part of the Xanthalian Republic.
The Xanthalian Senate is open for any questions the international community may have on this matter. Details on happenings within the Than system are still sketchy, but they will clarify once our transfer of Armada spacecraft, peacekeeping troops, and diplomats to the Than system is complete.
The Xanthalian Senate now says that they plan to hold elections for new representatives from Than IV in one year, and from Than VI in five years.
