EWNN Special Report

”Good evening, we interrupt your regular broadcast to bring you this update. It has been announced by Eurydian High Command that a new fleet vessel will be commissioned. It was noted by certain high-ranking officials that there was a glaring hole in the standing Eurydian Armadas. Admiral Vaynard stated, ‘This oversight will be remedied, and our fleets will be stronger than ever.’ Certainly we can put our faith in Admiral Vaynard, and I know I will be sleeping better at night. You can expect more information on this new development during our 11:00 broadcast.”

Deep within Eurydian space, the 5 mobile shipyards set to work. Each was going to produce to its fullest capacity; meaning 100 of these “hole filling” ships were under constructiont. The specifications and other relevant information was transmitted to the A.I.s aboard each of the shipyards. The encryption couldn’t have been higher. Construction would take roughly 3 years if the shipyards worked nonstop.
The ship itself kept up with standard Eurydian technology: Gravitic Neutron Cannons, AMP’s, an ITS system. There was one thing that was out of the ordinary, the ship rotated. Perhaps in a cost saving move the Republic eliminated the artificial gravity on the ship. Whatever the case may be, the Shipyards had their orders.
(OOC: I figure I’d give this a couple RL weeks to finish. Just for the record the ships will be roughly 1.6 kilometers long and state of the art, save the rotating section, which will come into play upon the ships completion. Any objections or tips are welcome.)
