A handwritten letter arrives in Menelmacar, written on parchment and bearing the seal of the guinea pig; Knootoss’ national animal. It is addressed to: Elentári Sirithil

Mighty Elentári, dear friend,

For too long have our paths not crossed. I hope that I have not somehow enflamed your anger or annoyance. To reinforce the timeless loyalty and allegiance of the Knootian people to the Eternal Noldorin Empire and to you, the Protector of Elvenkind and regent of Lavenrunz, we have enclosed various gifts representing all the elements within the trunk enclosed with this letter

On top, you will find a black diamond from deep in the earth, the mines of Ruhr, made of the purest material our smiths could find.

There under, at the right, you will find a silver diadem, that once belonged to the first and only countess of Holland. Within it are nine stones with the colour of red hot fire.

Next to the diadem lies a flute, made of the lightest possible material so that the air blowing through it will always be pure and light.

And at the very bottom of the treasure trunk, you will find three exceptionally large pearls that have been found at the bottom of the North Sea, while we were preparing to expand our land again.

Unfortunately, due to customs delays, the fruit basket is a bit moldy, having been delayed six weeks unrefridgerated.
