Tiresia launches first ship in decades
Today it is a somber day for the people of Tiresia, a smaller nation compared to others, as the launch of it's first space ship in nearly 20 years. The construction of the "TSS Izumo" was a monument of Tiresia's economical achievements, for it has recently reorganized it's economy from near destruction.
The creation of the battle fortress Izumo was out of necessity, for the government has turned a blind eye to a crisis for Tiresia's space colonies. The Izumo will be the first ship able to make the journey to the colonies in the dubbed Fourth Quadrant of space, which have lost radio contact and remained silent for 15 years. Tiresia has suffered many blows in it's space program, as colonies were destroyed in another Quadrant.
In response to the short war which raged, the Tiresian Expeditionary Force was launched to the homeworld of the aliens to prevent another war through diplomacy, or war if all else failed. The Pioneer mission of the TEF occured 12 years ago, which was consisted of the majority of Tiresia's most advanced weapons and greatest heros, the majority of the force was aboard the third "super dimensional battlefortress" called the Pioneer. The crew of 116,000 were last heard 5 years ago, attempting to return home, but the ship never materialized from hyperspace. The devastating news and failed search for the ship had plundering Tiresia in economic chaos, which had postponned the Izumo's completion as the currency had lowered in value to almost nothing.
The Izumo now lays in Lunar orbit, awaiting for it's all of it's crew to transfer onboard, and will leave Earth in a few hours with a small fleet of earlier completed battle ships, which were ill-equiped to travel to the 4th Quadrant. The ships crew of 13,600 carry the hope of the nation, to discover if friends and family who became daring colonists, are still alive, as well as the discovery of the long lost TSS Pioneer.

The Socialist Republic of Xanthal would like to offer the nation of Tiresia a combat escort in case of further hostilities.
The President does not wish for the people of Xanthal to worry though, as the Tiresian Space Navy is beginning to rebuild itself, and production of a secondary wave has already begun. In recent patrols made by the small amount of cruisers operational at the time, hope is beginning to grow for the discovery of the TSS Pioneer. The President also wished to thank the people of Xanthal for "Their generous offer, which will help relations with us."

Excellent. We have five Sabre class starships (XAS-165, XAS-183, XAS-209, XAS-215, and XAS-250) en route now. They will be with you in just under ten minutes. They may not be the toughest ships in the Armada, but they pack a punch. I'm sure they'll be able to keep up too, with a maximum sublight speed of .6 SL and a maximum slipstream speed of 500,000 SL.
Captain Reinhardt:"All ships are now in place, contact the Izazuki's and tell them that hyperspace fold will commence in 3 minutes. Also, when we defold, send the transmission that was sent from the Pioneer to the Xanthalian ships, hopefully it will give them more knowledge on the situation."
Sparks:"Yes sir! Entering coordinates."

"Admiral we will begin a hyperspace fold in about 3 minutes, if you wish to enter the fold bubble, proceed to move your cruisers closer to the Izumo. If you wish to do so your men will notice some strange events, such as seeing colors and objects distorted, but it is perfectly natural and will cause no harm. The fold operation will only last for about 5 minutes or so until we begin defold operations and arrive in Quadrant space."

The Sabre class is designed to pack a strong punch in a small package. The Sabre class has only a few torpedo tubes due to the space required for storage, loading, and launching mechanisms; but it has many phaser and disrupter banks. Its shields are of mediocre quality, so the Sabre class cannot withstand a sustained assault. It uses great speed and maneuverability coupled with its small size to dodge attacks while firing its powerful weapons. A relatively weak ship on its own, the Sabre class can do enormous damage when in fleets.

Reinhardt:"Execute fold!" A bubble of light comes out from the Izumo, and the Xanthalian ships and Izazukis become covered in it. The fold bubble last for a few minutes, and the ships vanish from Lunar orbit.

The ships appear again, in the Tzumtsk system, defold procedures have been completed.
Sparks:"Sir! We've arrived to one of the colonial systems. We are currently out by the 5th planet in the system, intelligence from the discovery of this sytem states that it is a gas giant, incapable of being inhabitated by humans, and is much like the planet jupiter. Has 18 known moons, but have not been explored. The colonized planet in this system is the fourth planet, which is an Earth like planet. Estimate time till we reach it is 2 hours at maximum speed. The star in this sytem is in the main sequence, temperature is aproximately the same as Earth's, gives of 6% more visible light than the Earth's."
Captain Reinhardt:"Good, relay this information to the Xanthalians. Also send the Pioneer's last transmission as well. And check all frequencies for any communication's going on."
"We have recieved your data Izumo. We're not equipped for much except combat, but we'll help you out however we can. Just ask."
Reinhardt:"Play the transmission again from the Pioneer. Nothing wrong with review." The Holographic projector turns on, and the image of a young man in a high ranking uniform appears, the picture flickers, but the image can still be seen.
Man:" This is Admiral.....Hunter....Pioneer force has reached...meworld...encountered...known aliens...planet was liberated...aliens taken over the Quadrant....main forces damaged unable to return home....esti...ty...rs...repeat..estimate of return....thirty..years..Pioneer..attempting..come to Earth..." The recording had faded.
Reindhardt:" We know nothing on these invaders, yet they seem to have taken the quadrant, they possibly could have killed everyone already." The communications officer called Sparks suddenly jumped up from his seat.
Sparks:"Sir! There's some radio chatter that we're picking up! It's from the colonies on the planet Liberty!"
Reinhardt:"Put it up immediatly!" The speakers began to play the audio messages.
"...roger, this is the 8th fighter division, maintaning loose formation, so far...tection of nothing over..turning to the Saratoga."
Reinhardt:"The Saratoga...that ship was in the Pioneer mission!"
OCC: Anyone's welcome to join the opposition, and are free to create the enemy however they like.
"We are detecting a transmission from the planet you call Liberty. Request permission to change course to investigate and secure the area."
Reinhardt:"Permission granted. The Jutland will accompany you to Liberty, the Izumo and others will stay behind for now."
XAS-165, 183, and 209 break off and head to planet Liberty. They arrive soon after and fly into the planet's atmosphere to gain maximum reception. "This is XAS-165 to anyone in the area. We are travelling with a Tiresian group sent to investigate the status of their first expedition to the system. Please respond."
A voice comes over the radio, the man seems to be surprised
Voice:".....Earthers? This is TSS Saratoga, we are currently on the surface of the central city on Liberty, our fold systems were damaged during the journey to the homeworld of the aliens, but these new unknown people invaded the Quadrant. The ship crashed into the surface 7 years ago, and have tried our best to repel the enemy from Liberty, but we couldn't hold out for long. We've lost communication with the other colonies, and it's been believed from last reports that many have been obliteratred. Honestly, we all thought that the Earth abandoned us, it's been years since the Pioneer left."
"Apparently you're not as forgotten as you thought. We are not from Earth, we are Xanthalians from the Aellis system. Still, until something happens to convince us to do otherwise, we're here to help you. Give us your coordinates, we're coming in to land."
Voice:"Roger..coordinates sent. The city is roughly 40 miles west of your current position."
"Affirmative. Send someone out to meet us once we land, will you? We really don't know where we're going. By the way, the TSS Jutland is moving into orbit now, she's a Tiresian vessel. You might want to catch up on the news with her commander. XAS-165 out."
XAS-165 comes in to land one mile out from the city. XAS-183 and 209 ascend back into orbit.
As the Xanthalian ship lands, men had arrived by the ship on Cyclones and hover bikes, and a Tiresian Condor fighter passed overhead, and landed. The soldiers stood, their uniforms worn and ripped from obvious hardships.
Man:"I'm Lieutenant Jason Bernard of the 16th company of the TEF marines, we welcome you to Liberty."
OOC: Hold your horses, you're talking to the hull of the starship. Let them get out first.
IC: The main hatch of XAS-165 opens and ten of her twenty crewmembers troop out, the captain in the lead. Reaching the bottom of the boarding ramp he bows in traditional Xanthalian greeting to the group of Tiresians. "I am Captain Obitus Vick of the Socialist Republic of Xanthal Armada Sabre class starship XAS-165."
The men from the 16th company salute the Xanthalians.
Lt.Bernard:"Well Captain you're more than welcomed to stay on Liberty, but I wouldn't recommend it. The colony has suffered a lot, we figured that we would be left for dead. But why now that people come? What has the Admiral been doing all these years after he left us? You can come to the city, but be wary of the colonists, they have a tainted view on outsiders after all these years we've spent isolated."
The Captain motions to four of his crewmembers. "You're all with me. The rest of you go back to the ship. I'll contact you every hour." He looks back to the lieutenant. "Lead the way, we need as much information as you can give us on what happened here. As for leaving you isolates, you'll have to take that up with your countrymen. We didn't even know that you were here until they made it a public announcement just a few days ago. That's when we were instructed to go with them."
The members of the 16th company take the Xanthalians back to the city, as they ride through it, they see burned out shells of buildings, shrapnel and debris is found across the city.Wrecks of Tiresian mecha and assorted vehicles littered the streets. The scars from battles had not healed, and the people who lived in it were also scarred as well. The people hid when they saw that the soldiers had brought strangers with them.
Lt.Bernard:"This is the Saratoga, we were garrisoned here by the Admrial 10 years ago, along with several other Garfish class cruisers, and 3 other Izazukis. Over the years, these invaders constantly tried to take Liberty, and we fought hard, but it couldn't last forever. Most of the forces were killed, and we had to cannibalize the Izazuki's which crashed with the Saratoga to keep as much of our equipment intact. Out of the 400,00 colonists which came here, only 70,000 remain last we took census." The soldiers and Xanthalians now were in the meeting room of the Saratoga, and sat down.
The captain looks deeply disturbed. "That's awful... Who did this to you? Do you know who they are?"
The Lieutenant sighed, and continued.
Lt.Bernard:"No, we have no idea who these people are. When we first came here, and arrived on the homeworld of the Fraxians, who we fought against in a different sector, which destroyed all our colonies. We destroyed their fleets in the area, and came here to end any hostilities. But they were enslaved by others when we came, and liberated them to prove our good intentions to them. But all we found of these Invaders that was left in battles were just scrap metal from Inorganic shock troops they use. We've tried to make contact with these people, but they never responded. Admiral Hunter tried his best to contact these mysterious beings, but we never could, and we never have found the remains of these invaders. Every attempt to recover any remains of these invaders failed. the Admiral tried his best to protect the Quadrant, but their attacks were against to many colonies, the fleet was divided, and slowly killed off. And this is how we have lived all this time."
"And what of the Fraxians?"
Lt.Bernard:"They were crippled after the destruction of their fleets in the other Quadrant. The population that was left on the planet was not suitable to make a large military force. Their forces could barely protect their system, and when we arrived after they were enslaved, the people suffered more. Only the old and the sick remained on that planet after the liberation, everyone else fled to our colonies elsewhere in the Quadrant, where their was better protection. We lost contact with them around the time the Pioneer departed, the Ark Angel was supposedly still stationed there, but after all this time I don't know."
"There are a lot of unknowns here... I think our first priority should be to protect and evacuate you all. It would seem that this isn't a very safe place to be. Agreed?"
