[AFRP] New Tank in the Works!

AFRP News Division
Today AFRP Ground Weapon Division (GWD) has announce that a new tank, currently named "Vanguard" is in the works:

Artist Conception
This tank sports a 150mm main cannon and a 20mm Recoilless cannon for infantry supression. A brief release on purpose statistics are as follows:
Crew: 2 (1 pilot, 1 gunner)
Speed: 45-50 MPH
Armor: Titanium/Depleted uranium composit, steel mesh, ceramics. 3.2inches
Weapons: See Above
Systems: Infrared targeting; Mikosolf Brand Neural Interface, Proximity dectors, passive radar, contained enviorment for 1hour.
More is to be released as designs continue!

GWD Letter to 5CN CWC:
Standard terms are alterations done to design are to be shared by both parties for minimal term: .5 Year: beyond that is negoiable by either party. Beyond that all alterations and modifications are under the "Its "yours" idea". Stating that is basic chassy design is constant it falls under the production limit. However, if weapon system is same but chassy is diffrent it is a "new" tank.

The basic chassy has been completed. Using as Alco PA engine to create in excess of 2000 horsepower, the tank can reach speed of near 80 MPH on a 57:20 gear ratio. With the extra kick (200 more than an Abrams) the armor is now being tested slightly thicker while maintaining the wanted speed (50 MPH fully loaded).
Also the basic turret design is near completion featuring a 360 rotation main cannon (150mm) and a 45º radius on the front mounted 20mm cannon.
The weapon systems are nothing new or inovated from the classic M-1 design, merely featuring a slight increase in protection of the infrared sensors.
Completion of design and beginning of prototype phase: 9.3 months
End of prototpye and beging of MkI production: 23 months (after the 9.3 for finishing)
(ooc: I used to play Dark Age of Camelot - when PlanetSide came out many of my friends left to go play planetside - they never came back :cry: :cry: :cry: )
