Much to the surprise of the international community, the Galdanian government has allowed a rock concert entitled 'Rock Against Communism' to play in downtown Burqyvchtz, a city of just over three million.

The concert is a first in Galdania, in that it is not organized by the government, but by a teacher and several of her students. The teacher is under investigation for politically influencing her students, but the concert is allowed to go on.

The concert will feature American bands such as 'White Power', and other anarchist/anti-communist groups. White Power will be playing their song for which the concert is named, 'Rock Against Communism'.

Very few people from outside Galdania will be at the concert, because of tight laws on entry to the country.

The concert did have some restrictions on it: The Galdanian flag may not be burned or graffitied in any way, and entry to the concert will be free, along with all food and drinks at the event.

The government is holding it's own concert in Burqyvchtz the same night, May 23rd, in hopes that they may steer people away from the 'RAC' concert. The government event will be entitled 'Revolution '33' after the Galdanian Communist Revolution of 1933. It will feature the Galdanian bands The Red Roses, The Capulets, OMNI, and the band that made Communist Rock great: The Flaming Stars!

Entry to Revolution '33 is free, as with food, drinks, and everything else. Due to the government's unlimited economic base, Revolution '33 is being held in a better location, is serving better food, and will even have a raffle for, among over 1,000 other prizes, ten brand-new Borkozty sports cars!

Revolution '33 is expected to draw more than 3 million people from around Galdania; RAC cannot legally have more than 250,000 people in attendance (they could not afford a permit for more people).

RAC....the message is good, but the music sucks. Well, at least RAC bands usually have pretty album covers.

Um, what? says the confused anarchist. Last I checked anarchists are no friends of fascists or reactionary racists of other flavors.

"Stupid Reds! Well I can only hope that the repressed people of Galdania will overthrow this outdated Stalinist government. Communism is by nature doomed to fail, only a pure democracy elected by The People, For the People will endure (that and the fact that everyone in Taligari thinks of shopping as a sport)."

Stalinist? What is Stalinist about Galdania? Our Premier has publicly denounced Stalin, in fact, he did it the very day he was DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED. Galdania IS a pure democracy, and the People have no reason to overthrow our 'outdated Stalinist government'.

Menelmacar applauds the decision of the Galdanian government to allow this freedom of speech. However, we are displeased by the obvious favor the government has shown to the competing concert. Freedom of speech is meant to be equal and open to all.

It is therefore the decision of the Lady Sirithil nos Fëanor to personally donate five million credits to the RAC concert for the purpose of a permit for a larger audience. Further, Menelmacar will provide fine, high-quality refreshments to the concert, superior to that provided by the Galdanian government.

The expression is equal. However, for a foreign government to donate money to an organization. If such a thing were to be allowed, it could be construed as a foreign government supporting an organization for 'services rendered', i.e. spreading propaganda, payed assassinations, etc. It is strictly policy.

As for refreshments, they may be provided.
