Raysia does not celebrate Christmas on the Pagan holday. We celebrate Christmas on Christ's true birthday, which we believe to be April 6th.

Many still do celebrate Christmas with the rest of the world on December 25th, but only for things like Santa Claus and Christmas trees et cetera. However, nativity scenes are still popular at both times of year.

"Does" was highlighted because YOU mispelled it :P
Autonomous City-states

As a secular nation, the Federation does not formally recognize any religious holiday. We leave that to individual citizens to decide.

Of course we do. Even if Jesus's birthday is not 25th December, we still celebrate the birthday of our most famous resident.

OOC

It's "believe" not "beleive".

Yes, but not as a religious nor Christian holiday - we celebrate it for what it truly is, a Capitalist holiday designed to promote a brief sense of happiness.

We "believe" in Christmas as any other historical fact (The fact that Jesus was born). We also as a Christian nation believe in the immaculate conception.

Because the peoples of Scardias Athem are Pagans we do not celebrate Christmas, but we do celebrate the sabbat of Yule on Dec. 21.
Nianacio

The people of Nianacio do indeed believe that "Christmas" exists.
Aaronakia

As a state with a predominantly Jewish population, Aaronakia does not, in general, "believe" in Christmas. Among Aaronak Christians (a very small minority) however, Christmas is regarded with some contempt, as it stems from a pagan celebration regarding the winter solstice, and doesn't even roughly correspond to the likely birth of Jesus, if he existed anyway.

Yes, I believe in Christmas. Christmas is a holiday shared by billions of people. If you don't think this is true then you are either shielded or stupid. Christmas isn't something you believe in. A religion like Buddhism is something you believe in. It's like saying do you believe in Friday. A more accurate and realistic poll would say: do you celebrate Christmas?

I prefer to have Christmas not a national holiday in my nation. It can be celebrated at will and employers can close for Christmas, Kwanzaa or whatever they choose to celebrate.

In Draconis Nightcrawlis it is celebrated under its true name, Yule and is celebrated in the proper manor with no Christian or Capitalist corruptions.

We celebrate christmas as a day with tournaments and contests.Mainly fairs, amusemnet parks, parties and such.
Dolvich

We of the Democratic Republic of Dolvich celebrate christmas, but not for any religious reasons. To us it is simply a time to think, to relax and reflect upon the year, and a time to be generous and thoughtful to others. We also encourage it as it helps to support the economy, providing a reliable sales period for retailers nationwide.
Soviet Haaregrad

Haaregradia officially celebrates Festivus on December 21-23. Christmas is celebrated by our very small Christian minority as usual.

OOC: Is that American Festivus or Canadian Festivus?

See, in Canada we don't have a Festivus Pole. We have a peive of drywall that we nail our greivences to. We burn the drywall after. Canadian Festivus is really a lot nicer. We don't do any feats of strength beyond arm wrestling.

BTW, Canadian Festivus is celebrated on January 15th, 16th, and 17th.

IC: Galdania does not recognise any 'religious' holidays. There are minorities who like to believe in things other than the Greater Good.
