Sabre class (light tactical):
The Sabre class is designed to pack a strong punch in as little a package as possible. Of it's many weapons arrays, most are disrupter and phaser banks. The Sabre class has only a few torpedo tubes, due to the space required for storage, loading, and launching mechanisms. Its shields are not of high quality and it has no cluster missiles aboard; so the Sabre class cannot withstand a sustained assault on it's weak frame. It uses its great speed and maneuverability and its small size to dodge attacks while firing powerful weapons at its aggressor. Only a half-decent warship on its own, the Sabre class really shines when fighting in a fleet.
