--- Inside the Presidential Palace ---
Minister Hammond leaned around the varnished oak doorway and peered down the smoky corridor. "I know you're out there Yelsen! Surrender now and we'll offer tax cuts to free media!"
The ancient carved woodwork, specially imported from black-market Elven carpenters over 150 years ago, exploded into splinters as Yelsen politely declined Hammond's offer with a square foot of lead pellets travelling faster than the speed of sound. "My newspaper's been dodging government taxes for decades! Burn in hell you socialist bastard!"
---- Well Away from the Goverment Buildings ---
"In other news today, it seems that a civil war has broken out in Slutbum Wallah. So far the fighting has been entirely contained within the presidential buildings as 5,700 high-ranking politicians, 12,200 secretarial and clerical staff, and around 8,900 other servants battle it out for control of the government. Local police forces are at a loss as to who to support, three S.W.A.T teams were initially sent in, but quickly chose different sides and opened fire on each other, adding to the casualty toll. The rest of the country seems to be functioning as normal."

[ooc: Now, if they weren't using guns I think there would be more humor, but that's just me.

OOC: Well, other than hunting rifles and service revolvers there ain't many guns anyway. And they have limited ammo.

Jenkins crawled through the tattered remains of his office, trying to fill a suitcase with all the cash and important paperwork he could find. The organized mobs had passed through here half an hour ago, on their way to the bunker beneath the palace. Now these corridors were almost empty. Which was why he jumped so high when a voice behind him spoke, "Jenkins."
Jenkins spun around to face this new threat, the case spilling open and filling the air with fluttering bits of paper. Minister Crowly stood in the doorway, a broken chairleg held in his hand like a club. "You sicken me, Jenikins. Trying to find all the money the oil conglomerates paid you?"
Jenkin backed away slowly, "You can't talk! You took bribes too!"
"At least I asked a higher price than you did!"
"So you were more honest because you were paid more for your votes?"
"Well.. yes. Anyway, enough talk. I always hated you and it's time you found out how much." Crowley lifted the chairleg to strike and charged at Jenkins. With one swift move that startled both of them, Jenkins snatched down an ancient cavarly sabre from the wall, carried through the swipe and lopped Crolwey's club clean in two. "Come on then! Lets talk politics!"

[ooc: I feel like joining the fun, but it'd need more players.]
I've heard of violent political debates, but clubs and Cavalry sabers? .

We will lend the government the use of two of our special operations units if they want them.

Three black people carriers with tinted windows and an FBI style light in the front window pull up about 200 yards from the doorway to the Presidential Building.
Immediatly all the door open and 15 Special Forces troops step out, fully clad in assault gear and holding silenced, laser targetted rifles. One man stands at the head of thr group and speaks to them.
Group One, stay back and deal with getting people out, Group Two, follow me!
The command was met with a resounding
Yes General
The groups, of 10 and 5, checked their weapons and wiped their visors clear before approaching the doorway. They stand outsude it against the walls as two men pull out their door gear, consisting of a large black mallet each.
They swing at the doors, once, twice, thrice. The locks on the doors clicked and the doors fell open with the fourth blow.
GO, GO GO! Called the General as his men sprant inside, 10 of them lining the route to began helping people out. The other 5 made their way up the hallway to where the main fighting had broken out.
