Nanakan Labs, Nanakaland's R&D Puppet, Presents:
Operation: Judgement Laser [Closed Modern Tech R&D RP]
It was the middle of the night in Nanakaland when a private boat landed in Port Nanaka. A shadowy figure stepped off of it and started walking toward a nearby warehouse. He entered it and got in the Jeep. He put his large black breifcase on the seat next to him. He drove the Jeep out of the warehouse and started leaving the city.

As he left the city, he was stopped at a checkpoint on the enterance of the Nanakan Highway, linking Port Nanaka and Nanakapolis. All the man needed to do was show a card and the police instantly let him through. He continued on the highway for several more hours....


He showed his card on the checkpoint on the other end of the highway and was let through to Nanakapolis without a search. The man rode his Jeep through the nearly deserted streets of Nanakapolis at 1:17 AM Nanakan Standard Time. He reached the other side of the city and passed another checkpoint near Fort Nanaka and Government Castle....


The man continued his journey through the mountains. He kept riding his Jeep until he reached a tiny city of eight million people, mainly scientists. He parked his Jeep and took his breifcase with him. He entered the largest building in this city of Nanakan Labs with some promising R&D of a laser powered satellite. It would take a lot of effort and government funding to get this project complete, however....

The president had gotten whiff of a new project. It was about some sort of Judgement Laser. He sat and thought about it and laughed as he thought of Terminator 2:Judgement Day. "CAll up some of our finest guards. We are taking a trip to Nanakan Labs."

[OOC: Before you think that the laser is a godmod, I must explain that it is not the laser that attacks. The laser is launched, then encoded with coordinates and sent into space. It activates one of many satellites (depeding on what is closer), filled with misiles, and that destroys anything in the coordinates. A bit of estimating is needed as it take five minutes for the laser to be reached, activated, and for the missiles to be launched. This is the basic theory and this thread is to basically put it to the test to see if the region of the Kingdom of the Midlands has a new defense system.]

A group of scientists look at the plans given to them by Nanakaland. They are looking at the plans and see a great future in defense. LAO was already working on the Global N.E.T.(National Exterrastrial Terminator[in other words an in space defense weapon]) and thought the two could be inter linked. On the small island, the scientists had been developing a new kind of missle to be able to launch at the incoming fire from other nations. So far they only had a basis for the plan. The missles would hit the target, and then emit a lava type liquid on it that would not only destroy it, but put a sheild around any nuclear or other WMD making it only hit the ground. The operation was a call for new development and a new sense of security for the Government.

Project Global N.E.T. has developed a new type of missle. The Rocket Neutralizing Missle is state-of-the-art. It uses two specially designed chemicals to neutralize airborne threats. Chemical Ice9 freezes the entire entity. Then Chemical Burn6 Burns away the outside of it. Then another dose of CI9 freezes the warhead and demms it useless. These new missles will be used when the Global N.E.T. is launched. Hopefully this will coincide with the launch of the Judgement Laser.

With these new R&D projects, the Kingdom of the Midlands (the name of a region) will be safe.

Back to the Story...

The man entered the building and gave the briefcase to the head of the R&D in the city Nanakan Labs. The man then left the same way he came. Nanakan Labs now had the specific plans needed to finish the Judgement Laser....

The Judgement Laser was tested to shoot down a missile a while ago. Now the official Judgement Laser satellite is launching. It will have to be restocked with missiles every nine months.

The Judgement Lazer may have future uses.
