Post Your Defence Forces, Weapons, and Equipment
This is a new thread that will (hopefully) stop people from making up stuff for defence if attacked. Here, post how much defence forces (active and inactive) you have, how much you could gather (ex. by drafting), how much weapons and equipment you have for defence (ex. tanks, SAMs), and other things that may help people understand your defences.
You don't have to list all of your defences, but please state if all or any are classified. Maybe national/regional maps would also come in handy. This is not only to stop misunderstandings, but to maybe scare off would-be-attackers. This is very open. I will list my defences later.

We do not share information about our defense systems.
That's considered dangerous for us.
OOC:
I'll post it all when I'll have the time... :P
One more thing... Technically, a whole army will be used to defend a nation. So it's like any other thread with military lists...
Do you mean only missile systems, regular forces and stuff like that?

Isselmere-Nieland Armed Forces
The United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland has conscription. All subjects, excepting those with special dispensation, must serve at least one year of National Service, with the majority of the intake going into the security forces to be trained as light infantry. Conscientious objectors and the remainder of the intake work under the ministries responsible for public works and for culture and communications. About 3.2% of the population are in National Service and the Armed Forces, causing a drain on the economy, with about 2% of the population in the volunteer Regular Forces.

We'll not delve into the details of our defense, but we take great pride in it. There are three cities covering the three main entrances to our nation, and these are filled with soldiers. The cities themselves are self-efficient and require no help from the government, therefore greatly reducing costs. We have a rather small navy due to the ten miles of coastline that is in our nation. We have numerous military bases and anti-missile defenses. Our capitol city contains several sky scrapers that are military bases in disguise. The defense is incredbly extensive and detailed in actuality.
It would be incredibly foolish for a country to give extensive information pertaining to their military to anyone who wanted to see it. Rest assured, The Republic of Rebeland is strong enough to maintain existence. If not with troops, with nukes. I bid you good day.

Our defense forces are simply abysmal in number and state. But, hey, no one will attack such an abysmal country, so it's enough.
The GDP calculater was super helpfull it helped me find how much money I have and I have ALOT baby 8) !!!! I wish this link could be displayed in your nation so u could use it all the time whenever u want to now that would be usefull! :D

((The military units in order from smallest to largest are: Squad, Platoon, Company, Battalion, Regiment, Brigade, Division, Corps, Army. NOTE: I left off the first two, Element and Team because in a combat situation you generally wouldn't manuever troops by elements (1 person) or teams (2 elements to 3 elements). Also, as far as unit sizes, there is no set size, it varies. But generally a Platoon will have around 35-55 people in it, a Company 135-155, a Battalion 535-555, a Regiment around 1,555, a Brigade 3,000, a Division around 10,000, a Corps around 25,000, and an Army around 60,000. However, as I said size varies. Also for your information as far as a Navy goes....Ship, Battle Group, Task Force, Fleet...it's technically correct. A Ship is of course an individual unit, a Battle Group is 7 ships, a Task Force is 23 Ships, and a Fleet is 71 ships. Armadas and Flotillas are used but are not part of a main unit structure. They are used for specific events, battles, or for specific assignments and usually these terms are used by Western European and South American countries. Last but not least, the Air Force. In order from smallest to alrgest: Air Squadron, Air Wing, Air Group, Air Corps, Air Force. This, however, does vary by unit type name country by country but that is the most common, there is no set size at all....a US Squadron could have 22 jets in it while a British Squadron could have 40...while a French Squadron could have 10...it all depends.))
