The Committee of the Army announced today that a new form of tank was to be implemented within 5 years into the ground forces. This new tank has been reported to use experimental "hover" technology. The Committee also declassified several years worth of experimentation relating to this new form of propulsion. At the moment, the Committee has not announced any other plans for electromagnetic propulsion, but that may change as the secrets of this force are unravelled.
The Type 93 HVR:

How It Works: All particles of matter hold an electromagnetic charge. By amplifying this charge through exciting the particles, a strong enough field can be created to repel the charged magnets in the tank. Through manipulation of the direction of the magnets, the repulsion can be directed to "throw" the tank in any direction. This also allows the tank to achive low level flight of about 30 meters, by increasing the power of the magnets. However, the tank trades off stealth for his greatly enhanced manuverability, as the magnetic field is easy to detect withthe right equipment.

Great but hows bout the range and fire power :?
and can the guns be interchangable?
and the armor what is armor made out of, and what would it be able to withstand?

The model here has two 105mm cannons, but it can be refitted with a single 125mm cannon. The range for the both cannons is about 2,500 m. The 105mms are hell on lightly or medium armored vehicles, but it takes several hits to take out a tank. The 125mm can take down a tank in only one or two shots, and can also fire anti tank missiles from the barrel. The two guns on the side are HAPBFC v.6, which is a very powerful minigun, capable of shredding infantry and vehicles effortlessly. The armor composition is classified, but let's just say it's "strong enough".

How would you shield the driver from all that EMF ? And how does it generate all that power ? remember the laws of physics say you can't create energy.
maybe it uses a small fussion reactor that is shielded for the size of the tank its self could contain it and you wouldn't need a bit one provied youu have a good tech lvl you could put a small reactor that pumps say 200000 volts or more power or some thing and that is what powers the tank. its not like your going to send that tank on MP duties its more for not a main battle tank or atleast a battle support tank, so it will only have stand down and battle ready status..
but nice tank i would buy the specs if i didn't already have a hoard otr tanks that run on fussion reactors and such and my power armoured inf.
but tell me its able to rip inf to shreads but what about the armoured infs?? surly they stand more of a chance with faced with the mini guns??

Hmm, that's not a bad idea, but the tank would go down with a helluva bang. An idea I've been playing with is harnessing and amplifying the inherent energy fields around everything, so that the tank could run on the Earth, basically. Then again, that would cost a lot to research. And it's not all that hard to shield the driver.
ya that would be sweet just think the tank could have 1 crew men and have instead of the normal progectile have a laser cannon so it needs no loading then should and when the tank is trashed it blows and takes as many enemy with it :D kinda a death tank in one
1 its a battle tank
2it blows up and still trashes the enemy and it will be very cheap
maybe u could make it have an excape hatch kinda thing :P
and i would stay away from land units too many nations use them my whole armoured corp of 10000 tanks are all hover but they are more like hover crafts where they run on air they are quieter but a little slower then normel tanks :but they still work :D
