Wazzu/LA Godmode War, Earth Front:

[[OOC: To get rid of a godmoder]]

While the Wazzu IC anti-godmode godmode weapon couldn't strike at Earth, more conventional Wazzu weapons and unconventional tactics could. And as that weapon fired, other actions took place.

Over 700 laser sites in the Dendarii Mountains, ranging in power from 10 to 50 Megawatts continuous (or 100-500 MW pulsed) fired off at orbiting mirrors...the lasers bounced back towards LA ground stations...mostly any variety of radar/sensor or communications device that could be found...things that were of necessity sensitive...to be anything but was to be ineffective. A new target was found every few short seconds.

Harder targets...like those of tanks, grounded aircraft, and military and industrial instilations had their own death comming...in the form of a near-standard satelite launched ortillary strike. But each 5 or 10 kilogram warhead was smaller then those of most nations. Instead of using heavy shielding or an ablative coating, Wazzu devices were consistant with their nation...advanced in the field of materials. Each was covered with a simple paint covering, nearly frictionless in air. They came down cool, not tripping of IR sensors, and bobbing in flight...and without a terminal velocity, they came down fast and hard.

Oddest of all, bank accounds of LA citizens suddenly found themselves overflowing with LA currency...causing sudden infation. Similarly, the forign holdings of LA corporations were mysteriously sold off, isolating damage to the nation from others.

why don't you just ignore him? You know, like normal people?

why don't you just ignore him? You know, like normal people?

OOC: In hindsight, that would have been the better option. I honestly feel I made a mistake by not simply ignoring him.

However, his attack led to an IC deal with Melkor that might not have happened otherwise. If I simply ignore him, then I have to go back and tell Melkor "nope, sorry, can't do that." Melkor doesn't deserve that, he is a good RPer.

I've never exactly been popular, not the least because of the whole "The Cardboard Avenger" thing. I think this venture into godmode-type war will lower (and already has lowered) other players' opinion of me. That hurts.

But I don't see any way out but forward.

I hope that answers your question satisfactorally.

If you want to hold your dignity, here's what I would suggest one of the following:

A. Just ignore them.

B. Point out that they are godmodding and correct them, because chances are they don't know better.

C. Warn them.

Or you could choose one of the bad options, if you wish to lose what respect you have:

D. Make this thread :P

E. Make fun of him and point out how much better you are than him.

F. Mock him and make him look like a fool simply because he has a different perspective on how to play this utterly freeform game.

Just layin out your options ;)
