Transmission from the Bone-Cave of Lord Lucius Lancaster:
The whole of the Mars system is currently engaged in a state of war, a war from which I cannot profit. Furthermore, I see no further purpose for monitoring this system, as assets on Burninatonian Earth, Burninatonian Luna, and the Burninatonian Asteroids have thus far effectively monitored the terrestrial planets. As such, effective immediately, The Imperial Hordes of Burninatonia are withdrawing from Mars and the Martian system. All material assets of Burninatonian Mars are being withdrawn and divided between the Burninatonian Asteroids, Burninatonian Luna, and NECRON-II on Io.
Furthermore, the territory formerly known as Burninatonian Mars has been sold for an undisclosed amount. Effective immediately upon the complete withdrawal of the Hordes, the territory formerly known as Burninatonian Mars will be placed under the dominion of Lord Melkor and the Imperium, to use as he sees fit. I urge all nations to recognize this exchange of sovereign lands, else face a small sampling of my bitterest wrath.
I will now pop an Advil larger than the bodies of you petty humans in the vain hope that the headache that is Mars will go away and never bother me again.

The last of the transport vessels takes off from the Martian surface, leaving nothing except a few concrete foundations upon the planet's red surface. From the window of the vessel, Kretian Thorne--previous overseer of Burninatonian Mars--watches as his land shrinks away from him, disappears beneath the bustle of orbital traffic, and then fades into the depths of blackest space.
Io... I can't believe he's sending me back to f*cking Io...
Thorne's fists clench. His deep crimson eyes narrow.
This had better be the last time, Lancaster. This had damn well better be the last...
