In the cold december night, several teams of special forces left their bases. Heavily armed and thoroughly instructed, they boarded waiting aerodynes and hoverdynes and made their way to their destination. A total of 24 teams, each ranging in size from 5 to 15 Black Wolf operatives set out that night. Some would perform a single task, others had multiple missions to complete. The teams has been selected on one single feat: their absolute loyalty to their Kiith. Their family was not respected much in the Corporation, but if there was one thing they were known for, it was their strict, conservative and religious way of life.
During that night, under the light of a full moon, a total of 48 individuals were confronted with the operatives. Some were caught in there houses, sleeping next to their wifes or girlfriends. Others were apprehended in a vehicle, nightclub or restaurant. Three of them were kidnapped from a juvenile detention facility.
The next day, the operatives had returned to their stations and bases, without anybody having noticedtheir absence. Those that did need to explain their sudden disappearance during the night had been provided with the proper documents to give them justifications.
Several days later, after investigations from some eager reporters, the newspapers talked about dozens of highly wanted criminals suddenly disappearing from the streets. Nobody knew where they were. Also, each of them seemed to fit a certain profile. They were all strong, ranging in age from their mid twenties to early thirties. Each of them was wanted for rape, murder, dealing in harddrugs or other 'hard' crime. Three of them formed an exception. Three juveniles, 12, 13,15 and years old, apprehended on account of the killing of the ex girlfriend of the oldest one, had vanished from a detention facility.
Daiamid officials refused any comment, yet individual councilmembers swore they knew nothing of this.
