Project Electro-Kinetic Muskrat

The scientific community of Very Annoying Peoples was shocked Tues. evening when a local inadvertantly found a simple muskrat.

It was not the fact that he found the muskrat that shocked the community, nor the fact that that particular muskrat had two heads. Oh no. When the local took said muskrat to his house and established it as his pet, he made a very shocking discovery; a second one, that is.

When the local (John Miller) accidently dropped a Kevlar bullet (cheaper than silver here in Renouse Prime) into the tank, he was surprised to see one of the heads fall to sleep, while the other stared at it menacingly. About a second later, the bullet erupted in sparks, leaving only a scorched circle on the ground in front of it.

two hours later

Three scientists in their lab were experimenting with a strage, two-headed muskrat, whose owner was, only one and a half hours earlier, was sent to the local penetentiary, apparently crazed. These scientists thought this small mammal had something up his sleeve, and they wanted to find out what. The problem? One of the heads was asleep.

As much as the three scientists tried, they couldn't get the wayward heads to wake up, and the awake head was staring at them, unmoving. Agitated, one of the scientists dropped a metal instrument into the holding tank of the rat. One of the head's eyes bulged wide, as the other fell deeper in its slumber. The $200 instrument erupted before the scientists' very eyes.

The scientists believe that this phenonenon may have been caused by the muskrat having special glands in one of the heads that, when activated (fear?), would steal all electrical impulses from the other head and direct them toward the object.

More research is currently being held, and the government is pooring $400,000,000 into this project, entitled "Electro-Kinetic Muskrat".

We of Very Annoying Peoples would much appreciate any donations, especially if they are of the cloning variety.
