Oragni-Android Daemon was very pleased with the progress so far on the Moleman Project. A massive project that had begun on the very day that Daemon chose to isolate Synchronized and it's Protectorates from the International State for three decades to better perpare her Collective for the dangers of the other nations. The first stage of the project had been completed one standard month before she announced that Synchronized rentered the world arena, the complete relocation of Synchronized Industries underground (with suitable ventilation for toxic gases into the above ground).
Of course this would require a massive update on how the Organic-Units were Synchronized into the Collective. An overhaul that had changed the very way an Organic-Unit worked. Now the Organic-Units wore masks and were connected to a pack on their back with a serries of tubes and skin-flesh growth, the tank carried a supply of oxygen and the organic-compounds that the Organic-Unit in question would need to function at an optimum level (the tank was filled with new oxygen and organic-compunds every 16 hours. The Organics were of course as always grown in the Vats but now Daemon experimented with new genetic materials to improve the Organic-Units and to change them as the times needed.
As the enviroment of Synchronized grew more and more polluted the Organic-Units were changed and evolved as the enviroment changed. As this happened the O-U's (short for Organic-Units) were relocated to the new mass hives that were being built underground. As this was done the cities that were once centers of human culture and tradition were dismantled, of course there would always be a need for Synchronized to have a presence on the surface so the cities themselves were being restructured into Above-Ground versions of the new Hives.
Of course the Hives would not be named after human cities, they would have proper code designations (the Lisbon-Hive would be known as Lis-1679). Each Hive was as similar in shape as Daemon could make them but differences existed where it was needed but the basic shape of a hive was a giant cube of shinning metal of a type that Daemon herself had invented. The Hives themselves were linked to one another by giant tubes (both above and bellow ground) that worked like the transport tubes at banks, the materials or Organic-Units were loaded into a capsule-shapped car and then sent to wherever they needed to go.
But most of this was in the distant future as so far only the industries of Synchronized were underground and only one Underground Hive was complete (it was the smallest, holding only 100,000 Organic-Units in total and served only as a prototype) and Daemon had sent a good chunk of her resources into space to complete Gyonos-1 so the Moleman Project was slowed down for now. But she would pick back up on it soon enough. and it would be the best investment of all.
