Prince Alexander Black

Alexander has become a living embodiment of Roania's motto: "The only way to fight the darkness, is to become the darkness. No, darker then the darkness. Look into the abyss, and see yourself..."

Soon after he married Kelly, he decided he wanted to learn a new fighting style. He picked the Dark Harvest style, a Roanian style in which he learnt to feed on the fear of his opponents. After a month of hard training, he became a master of the dark art. At that exact moment, his teacher attacked him.

Alexander quickly killed the pathetic old man, and took his sword. The spirit within spoke to him, offering him ultimate power. The price was low. A small fraction of the young Prince's soul. Alexander quickly aquiesced(sp?). However, it also increased the potency of an opponent's fear. Alexander himself described an enemy's fear as "A drink more tasteful then the finest wine, sweeter then sugar." He set up a training chamber in his Palace, in which he regularly kills criminals to fill his dark thirst.

It is reasonably certain that Blade is some sort of demon. However, he did not make Alexander evil. All it did was release what was already there. Despite his dark cravings, Alexander remains a deep believer in God, to the point that he has hung a Madonna within the training chamber and dedicates the death of each criminal to the Good Lord. He also maintains a deep love for his wife, and country.

He's just... really, really bad.

I love an evil crimefighter. Good show, I hope to meet him in an RP sometime.

OOC: I'm no fan of fantasy fiction, so I'll give you my honest opinion (no offence intended), *clears throat, then cups hands over mouth imitating a foghorn*: "BBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRIIIIIIIIIIINNG!!!"

OOC: Sounds good, but I don't think faith would be that attached to killing. Although, come to think of the past with catholics and inquistion. Okay, I retract that sounds real good. I assume this is past fanatsy because most catholics (I am one) can say that would fly now! Hey, I thought you were leaving us? Not that I am complaining just alittle confused.

OOC: Damn it, SB spoke first. Curse you.

I really, really hate this picture, but it's the best I could find.

The Talon of The Principality

If Alexander was evil because he was corrupted, then his most vicious minion is evil because that's all he knows how to do. The Talon of the Principality (The Talon, when you're speaking about him; #2117 if you're the RIAS head James Grey; Soulless abomination if you're Alexander; Talon, if you're speaking to him) is a man who no longer lives for anything then the hunt. An assassin, he carries enough weapons to spread death and darkness indiscriminately for hours.

Though that's against the soul of the hunt. He prefers to pick off his target at a distance using a high-powered sniper rifle, but if forced up close he can move incredibly fast, and deal death quickly with his razor sharp katana. It is unknown what his original name was, and why he is the way he is, but he is quite, quite deadly.

In a little while, yes. Then I'm coming back. Did you read the entire post? I said the only reason I was doing it then was because I wished to spend my last few days wrapping up threads, not being subjected to tearful farewells.

Simon Darquis

Simon Darquis has once again been thrust into the spotlight in one of my stories. The lovable cynic has also gotten a new look, one which better suits his temperament. Seen here is Simon out of his Inquisitorial standard armor.

He's the main male protagonist, again, and almost edges Alexander out for most frequently appearing Roanian. His hates include: Being attacked by reptiles; insects; overly dramatic villians; and women who refuse to listen when they both know he's right.

He considers himself extremely lucky to have Jean. Though not as lucky as she considers herself.

Jean

For once, the star of a thread of mine is a woman. Jean Otler.

It's a glorious moment, only ruined by the fact that when she was born, she was as male as Simon. A magical spell turned her into her current form, and it turns out that was a good thing. Otherwise, she would have died with the other members of the first legion. She was trapped in her current form when she realised that if she turned back, she would become a berserk lunatic, and kill everything.

She's coping remarkably well, even sleeping with Simon. She has a range of amazing powers... pity she can't control them.

Archmage Merrech: The Pen-ultimate betrayer

Yes, this is what Merrech looks like beneath his cowl. Merrech is a lich, a truly powerful one. A once proud elven mage, he was exiled from Menelmacar for proposing some deed now lost to all memory but his and Sirithril's. He has never attempted to return to his old home, and his current purpose is shrouded in mystery.

When humans first came to New Rohan, he and his disciples avoided them. In more recent times, he was appointed Minister for Magic. Then, when Farseer Devian left, he took his post as Minister for Elven Affairs.

When Devian returned, Merrech put him in a glass bottle, and fled with a few of his chosen disciples from the elemental orders, leaving his magic library behind him. No one knows what he's up to, and no one wants to find out particularly... however, find out Jean must, because for some reason he wants her dead.
