Foundation: Birth of Tirah colony
With the construction of the Tiny Central European pact Colony in high Earth colony under construction, the Tordoran government sent out expeditions to find a planet for colonization by interested CEP nations. Tordor alrighty had long colonized planets and had its own space Colonies; In fact most of its population lived outside of the original homeland Islands. However this colony would be something for CEP nations to do together to build a stronger bond together and to alleviate population problems in those nations a colony of good will where people could live the ideals of the CEP.
After 6 months of searching a Binary Star system, far from the borders of the various space nations of the galaxy, was found. This system was named Tirah after the second consul of the CEP. It had 12 Planets, one of which was earth like in climate and two others that with years of Teri forming could be made habitable. After word of the find was sent back, the expedition began to explore the third world of the system and set up the prelimary set up of the colony for when the first colony ship arrived.
3 months later, the frist colony ship arrived carrying 100,000 colonists. These colonists were to take up farming and after taking farming equipment they went off to form farmsteads. The point was to produce food to surport the colony before large numbers of colonists began to arrive. One thing they had going for them was that while the planet was a little wetter than Earth norm, it was allow more Temparate with stable mostly predicable weather patterns and steady tempatures.
however what they didn't know about was however was that on the planet an extremely dangerious form of life was habiranating beneath their feets in deep underground caverns, a form of life that would be the biggest threat the colony would ever know...
OOC:Ugg the server strikes again.
The colony's population grew quickly to the millions, mainly farmers and craftsman.Farms, small and towns and villages spread out from the orginal landing site as they slowly cultifated the land. There was one city, in the heart of the small colony which had a space port and was the nerve center of the colony so was the defacto capital of the colony.
In High Geocentric Orbit was a large Miltary space station, which served as the colony's main line of defense, as an communation center and as an customs office. Also defending the colony was a single aged battle Cruiser that had been retired from Tordoran Space forces main fleet and had been given to the CEP part of their fleet which consisted off outdated Tordoran ships which were based on stolen plans of outdated Teritoran Star Warships. On the ground there was few hundred CEP troops posted at scattered outposts. Nobody ever expected anything to threaten the colony, it was to remote to be of intrest. Nobody however expected the threat beneath the surface.
20 A.C. Stange metal discovered rock on Tirah. Research into the metal begans.
23 A.C. Metal found to be a natural form of Gerixi, a extremely strong and light weight metal that 20 times stronger tougher than steel and can take much greater stress used by nations like Tordor, Teritora and few countries to build extremely Fast, sleek, manivurable, hard to destroy Star warships. It was also an metal normally artifically produced and found in large amounts in one of the Tordoran and one of the Teritoran systems.
29 A.C. Contracts to mine this valuable resource awarded to Tordoran Geran Corp. as well an Romanian and an Itlalian mining companies to mine Gerixi and large scale mining begans.
30 A.C. Population of Colony is determined to be 7 % Hungarian, 30 % Italian, 1 % Tordoran, 1% Austian, 1% Bugurian, 58 % Romanian, 2 5 various other CEP nations.

As long as you do not attack the CEP nations, the Joint Colonies of the CEP, or Tordor and our colonies there should not be a problem, just like you shouldn't have a problem with anyother Space nation as long as you do not attack them, their colonies and Territory.
35 A.C. Miners in the deeper parts of the Gerixi mines began to dispear with out a trace. Guards are hired and sent down to protect miners.
36 A.C. Guards are hired and sent down to protect miners in the deeper parts of the mines.
45 A.C. Production of Gerixi drops with the dispearence of miners, guards unable to find out cause and sometimes don't come back from patrol. Price of Gerixi rises as a result.
46 A.C. Investagers sent to root out problems in the mines. None are heard from again. Production in all but the under most reaches of the mines cesses.
47 A.C. Crack team of Space Marines sent to invesagate and stop what is killing the miners.
Private Heran was nervious looking around and wondered what had lead him to into such a place. Oh ya, join the CEP Space Marines, nice plush job, serve with people from over dozen different nations and now he and his comrades were in some God forsaken mine trying to find out what happened to some colonial miners who had dispeared. Suddenly he heard gun fire and the screams of his comrades, he turned assult rifle ready but all he had a chance to do scream briefly before he was ripped to pieces, he never even saw what killed him.
48 A.C. After the dispearince of the marines in the mines, the Gerixi mines shut down completely and the entrances are sealed intil the problem is solved.
68 A.C. outling farms, hamlets and villages began to dispear, all the inhabidents gone with out a trace. CEP Colonial officals become extremely alarmed. Plans are worked on dealing with how to protect the colonies and just what is behind the dispearences.

70 A.C. After the arrival of a Batalion worth of CEP Space Marines, the Gerixi mines are reopened. However mine duty and county patroling becomes dirty words among the marines as it is amoung the Colonial troops as sometimes the mine and countryside patrols don't come back. CEP Marines stationed there given hazzard pay but exports of Gerixi began again bringing the prices of Gerixi down again.
71 A.C. In CEP Space Force, duty on Tirah becomes unoffical known as good place to send trouble makers with the high death rate among marines and colonial troops.
73 A.C. CEP Colonial Authority begans searching for mercenaries willing to find out what is causing the deaths.
75 A.C. 48,000 armed to the teeth CEP Space Marines are gathered and sent to Tirah to enter the deepest parts of the mines and kill what ever is down there killing miners. On a side note, a metal is issued and given to the families the marines on the day they leave.

10,000 Republican Fleet Strike troops have been deployed to Tirah to find and destroy the threat. 300 of these are Armored Combat Suit troopers.
Generals Trapes of the Space Marines and General Mishai of the Colonial forces will meet with the commander of the Fleet Marines to update them on the sitation before they really enter the sitation to let him know whats going on there.
The Republican Expeditionary Force arrives at the colony. Major Michael "Ironman" O'Neal of the ACS sends a transmission to General Trapes requesting orders and breifing.
A single Company of Dragon Knights was enroute back to their empire from a routine patrol of the outer reaches when we heard the call. We will send in 3 squads as a gesture of goodwill towards the Tirah, to investigate and uproot the problem that youre having. All we wish is that this is resolved as quickly as possible. 80 A.C. The Tirah Colonial Allaince takes over from the CEP on running Tirah Colony, vast Majorty of colonists coming to Tirah are now Romanians and Italians with a small minority of Tordorans.

Generals Trapes spoke. "Theres few thousand of them but we got tens of thousand of Marines down there down there. The thing is we need to find the nest, the sciencists estmate that theres hundreds of thousands of eggs to millions of eggs, they hatch, in a years time there will not be colony left. We got a time frame here. We have to find and destroy the nest while the eggs are unhatched or their still in their larvae forms."
In the dim darkness of the tunnels, its silence was disturbed by the movements of tall figures, their ornate armour and weapons revealing them as the Dragon Knights of the Elvarin. High Marshall Tefron Aletain personally led this small elite force of thirty warriors, observing comm silence as they moved ever deeper into this depthless darkness. Keen Elfin eyes noticed tracks everywhere within the tunnels.
"This place must have been pretty busy with bug activity", Tefron thought quietly to himself, "But where are they all now?"
With orders to hunt down and destroy the nest, and with supposedly thousands of other warriors scouring this tunnels, they have seen no signs of life, neither friend or foe.
"You know how the saying goes, its too quiet", Tefron grinned to himself.

Meanwhile, in planetary orbit, their progress was being monitored by the Captain of the hammerhawk ship that transported them to this world. He was watching them through their helmet cameras with growing trepidation as the obvious lack of the enemy was worrying him.
Turning to his aide, he ordered, "Prep the other remaining 70 dragon knights for immediate deployment. I do not believe that this silence will continue".
With a nod, his aide left the captain with his own thoughts.

There was indeed thousands of CEP Space Marines down in the tunnels but the tunnels were vast and even the gunfire and the sounds of bugs where men where fighting them took time to travel but there was a vicious firefight going on. in scattered places all over.

99 A.C. Miners revolt put down, 20,000 miners and family members are killed
109 A.C. Farmers revol begans and is put down
140 A.C. General Colonial revolt erupts over the harsh treatment by Geran Corp to its workers and because of increasing harsh treatment by Colonial authority.
A shadowed room, Tirah Colonial Allaince Tricounsulate meeting:Three shadawly figures sit at a table, their faces can't be seen.
Tricounsul one:So the Tirah Colony has revolted this can not be allowed and worse the colonial forces have joined in the revolt. Our own miltary

OOC: how was the tordor involved in all this?
OOC:Tordor is the major and largest member of the three nations that make up the Tirah Colonial alliance, the other two being RLN Italy and Romania. Geran Corp is one of the super Mega Corporatons, its headquarters is in Tordor and it holds the sole contract for mining Gerexi since it launched a literal hostile take over of the Gerexi mining operations by using its corporate troops to wipe out the other corporations.
OOC: What will happen to the foreign troops that were helping the planet? What can i expect so that i can chnage my rp to the situation.

Without warning, huge sections of the tunnel walls bursted open to a horde of giant bugs, their talons and pincers sweeping the air before them seeking contact with a prey. With well practiced drill, the warriors formed into a rough circle and began firing their pulse carbines into the horde of chittering madness as it swept towards them.
"Grenades!", Tefron yelled, and in a flash, 30 well placed photon grenades exited the underslung grenade launcher of their carbines, incinerating huge holes in the tide, but it wasnt enough as the beasts still continued onwards.
Flashes of light lite the tunnel from the pulse carbines, giving an eerie surreal feeling to the whole encounter. For hours the dead bug count was still rising in front of the Dragon Knights but they knew they cannot maintain such inccessant firing for soon their ammo would be depleted.
I think its time i pray for a miracle, Tefron thought grimly as he was down to three clips left. Only the gods can save us now

suddenly a mass of heavy gunfire ripped into the bug swarm as a full company of space marines came up on the other sides of the bugs firing heavy assault rifles. The captian called out. "Welcome to hell, We see you run into the colonist killing demons of the tunnels."
"Its good to see some friends at last!", Tefron yelled.
"Knights! Alpha pattern on me!", and with that order, centuries of drill asserted itself as the warriors flowed into formation, never ceasing their firing as they followed their leader who was attempting to link up with the space marines.
"How many of them are they!", Tefron screamed to the captain as he slammed another bugged to the ground and blew it away.
Only fifty paces to go, he cursed as he realised it was gonna be a long walk through hell to meet friends.

The captian called out as the company of space marines made their way towards the dragon knights. "Don't know theres bands like this all over the place around here, I think we are close to the nest but the rest of the marines are scattered in companies all over the place fighting the bugs."
I am taking a long overdue vacation after this
"Captain! How many fighting men do you have?", Tefron yelled as he finally linked up with the space marines and hoping he didnt lose too many of his warriors along the way.
Tefron blurred into movement as a bug attempted to behead one of his own men, shoving a sword down what he hoped was its throat.
"Have you had anymore orders? I would seriously like to know where we are meant to be going!", Tefron turned once again and blew a leaping bug in the air.

The Captain called out. "Theres 200 men including me here, but theres 40,000 scattered all over these tunnels fighting the bugs. Most of which is else where, I think we ran into the nest guards. If we take out the nest and the queen, the rest will be wasted, we think from their actions the queen controls the rest, if she dies, the rest will be toast." The Bug tide was steeming quickly as the bugs were finshed off by the space marines and the dragon knights.
"Excellent, but we need to restock on ammo. Unless you have some compatible units or could lend us weaponry".
Tefron gazed about him as the last of the bugs were annihilated, but here and there, he noticed the unmoving forms of his warriors buried under the corpses of the foul bugs. There were seven blips within his helm display and he knew that they were his warriors.
Damnit, a sum total of six thousand years of combat experience lost in these damn tunnels, Tefron cursed as he hefted his pulse carbine and checked his ammo.
His ammo counter read sixteen and he knew that without further ammo, he had to wait for resupply.
"Well then", Tefron grinned to the captain, "Lets get going".

"..are you reading this Tefron?", a voice buzzed into his helmet comms.
"Yes, what is it?", he asked in irritation as they continued on their relentless marched into the tunnels.
"We have received a message from high command. All ships are to return to space dock. We are at war".
Tefron stilled as he heard the news. Damnit! We are close to the nests! I can feel them!
He replied, "Our mission is almost complete, once it is done we will return home."

"That will be all", and with that he disconnected communication from the ship. I am disobeying direct orders, but I wont let the lives of my warriors be wasted
Calling out, he ordered, "Pick up the pace! We got a mission to accomplish!", and they all moved with renewed vigour towards an unseen objective.

The captan at this time was holding a fine broadsword at this time, his gun jammed. "I am afraid not we don't have the amino for you,we'll struck with these 7.9 mm assault rifles with expanding bullets, 9 mm Geran specal pistols and swords down here. Unless you can use that?" the whole group moved into a massive chamber and there was rows apon rolls of egg chambers, and a massive bug that was bloated and towered above them, easly the size of a small castle towerred before them. The captain stared then spoke. "Well we found it."
"We still have enough ammo to complete the job", Tefron assured the Captain. At least I hope so
"Unit!! Advance! Launch grenades!", he roared and the sounds of it discharging from the launcher was heard by all as they started to move forward, a stolid line of warriors clear and resolute in what they are about to do.
"Captain! Why dont you join us", Tefron grinned and turned back towards the nest.

The Captian nodded, "With Pleasure." and his then men breaking out odd looking Gerenades, these where specal gerenades that would when they hit the target explode and spray napam every where around the target and they started throwing these into the egg chambers, another group went after the queen throwing these Gerenades and firing their guns at the hapless queen who couldn't move.
"Elves! Men! Take down that thing!", Tefron roared as he fired everything he got at the large bug. He assumed of course that it was the queen....
"For the Emperor!", they roared and proceeded to kneel as an entire line of pulse carbines was raised into the air and joined their High Marshal in an orgy of firepower.
Finally the Queen stumped and burned under the firepower thrown at it and all the bugs i the tunnels and else where gave a horrid streek and fell to the ground mindless and dead. Captain noted. "Now we extremiate the nest and take care of any unhatched queens and male drones before they can reproduce. Well that won't be to hard I think. We just take out the remaining nests."
"Sorry", Tefron tapped his pulse carbine, "We are out of ammo and we have to return to our warship to restock. But that would also mean our departure as we have received direct orders to return to space dock. Our empire is going to war"
Giving an elven war salute, Tefron smiled, "It was a pleasure serving with you. But I must return to my world now."
Turning to his men, he ordered, "Pick up the bodies of our fallen. Its time we head home".
And they marched off...
