And no, I'm not interested(although it took some research to figure this out); just saying that, if the opening post explained what the FHWC was, so others didn't have to look through your post history to find out, you'd be more likly to get more sign-ups :wink:

GOVERNMENT IN BID TO ENCOURAGE INTERNATIONAL FIELD HOCKEY

NEWI Cefn Druids' Minister of Sport, Games and Other Popular Entertainment, Trevor Evans, has tonight confirmed that the NEWI Cefn Druids government will supply any nations who sign up for the imminent Field Hockey World Cup with a years supply of pies and battenburg cakes. Though this could appear to outsiders as a quite unusual offer, it must be considered that the battenburg cake is the national food of NEWI Cefn Druids, whilst pies are a delicacy in their region, the Axis of Absurdity.

When asked if the offer would be ridiculed by outsiders, Evans commented, "Why should it be? Pies and battenburg cakes are beautiful things! Who wouldn't want them?"

However, some observers have dismissed Evans' move. Opposition International Affairs Representative Dave Richardson condemned the move as "out of touch with the needs of the outside world". However, despite this opposition, the offer from the government remains open.
