Video tapes are sent to all the major news outlets of the world. They are instructed to play them at a certian time and play them in their entirity, no editing.

Each tape contains the same recorded message. A distorted voice speaks while the video shows picyures of terror attacks from around the world.

"This is the doing of those that would kill because they have a different religion or a different skin color or even because of money. This is the world you live in. Maybe it isn't outside your door, maybe it is. But this is what is happening around this world. And it is why we are here.

"We are the Anti-Terror Terrorists. Yes, it sounds strange, but hear me out. We are terrorists that terrorize the terrorists that kill for the reasons I listed. We kill to stop them from killing. As some of you know, there were three simaltanious nuclear explosions in an African city. Now... that caused a lot more civilian deaths than anything the attacks you are seeing on your screen have. But we had to show these peicies of scum that we are serious and we will sacrifice anything to destroy organized terrorism on this planet.

"You bomb a church. We bomb a town. You hijack a jet. We blow up an airport. You blow up a school. We nuke an entire city. You want to play terrorism? We'll show you real terror."

The tape ends with the symbol and the motto of the ATT.

You have 2 problems:

OOC: I wasn't thinking of anything anywhere near that powerful; no point. I was just planning on humans with some unusual abilities, such as not being noticed unless someone is paying close attention or looking for them, projecting a voice some distance away, lighting a fire with no matches (but not if it couldn't be done with matches), or brief, low level illusion casting. Does that work? It would really only be usefull against victims, not attackers.

Resi News Network (RNN) and subsidiary CNN refuse to air the tape, on grounds that they both must be payed to air propaganda. Upon hearing of this, John Rivers, current CEO of Turner Broadcasting, remarked:
"I don't see why they don't just give those tapes to Fox. All they need to do is add a couple American flags and a crowd of people chanting 'USA! USA!' in the background, and the tape would air, no questions asked."

Upon recording his comments, his secretary questioned him as to what exactly the USA was ((OOC: This is NS, remember? :P )). He promptly responded, "Hell if I know, but those guys at Fox sure seem to like it a lot."

5th Star General Saghe T. Bernior quirked a brow at the suit shuffling his way into his office as he regretfully snuffed out the first cigar he'd had the time to inhale this month. The suit, a MASQUE agent whose Clivehimian flag pin lapel indicated he worked directly under the presidential security advisor, sidestepped around a file cabinet and rested his black satchel on top of the mildly annoyed general's desk. He briskly opened it and retrieved a manila folder adhered shut by a black seal, and handed it to Bernior.

Bernior, squinting to make eye contact with him behind the agent's steel-rimmed sunglasses, reached out and took the folder, snapping the seal off with his letter opener.

A video cassette fell out of the folder and hit the table with a dull clatter. Bernior and the agent nonchalantly watched it hit the table, and Bernior promptly stood and slid it into the VCR set up to the side of his desk.

The MASQUE agent and the General quietly watched the film beginning to end, the agent staring emotionlessly as the general chewed thoughtfully on the end of his letter opener.

At the end of the film, Bernior simply shrugged.

"Another whacked out terrorist cell" Bernior said dismissively. "I'll inform the president that our national terror alert status will go to 3 until further notice. I want intel on that group, top to bottom, front to back. When we find them, and judging by their recklessness, we will, I'll see to it that they wind up six feet under myself."

Bernior picked up an orange telephone reciever and softly depressed a black button on it. After a moment of waiting, he muttered:

"Deploy SOLDAT."*

Bernior looked back to the MASQUE agent.

"That will be all, agent."

The agent turned to leave, but Bernior stopped him. He turned around quietly.

"One more order, agent... get yourself some sleep. I can see the bags under your eyes even from behind those sunglasses, and the last thing we need are half-asleep protectors of Clivehimian national security."





*Detective force with the combat qualifications of SEALs who can operate without restrictions placed by the government. Very, very rarely used.

Angela stood overseeing the equipment being packed up and being sent out to the C-130 sitting outside. Six months in this location had proven very successful. Fly a couple small planes in and out every once and a while to keep the suspicion down, disguise the wokers as mechanics, pay off a few border patrols... everything went as planned. Now to pick up and move on before anyoe started asking too many questions.

Percy looked over the plans for the next attack. A plane had been hijacked and as promised, an airport was to be destroyed. This was going to be a big job and Percy was sending his top man to make sure it went off without a hitch. "Land the Leer. Twelve teams go in undercover from outside with just sidearms and pick off the security. The gunshots will get most of the civilians to evacuate and we simply block the exits with the five armed teams and get ourselves thrity to fifty hostages. That keeps the cops away." He points to a section of the airport, "We hold them there and have the armed teams, still masked, drug them. That makes it impossible for the cops to get to them without a whole lot of fighting and the drugs allow our undercover men and women to go blend in with the crowd."

CNN Live An airport is being held hostage by the ATT today following the hijacking of a 747. Details are sketchy but we belive fourty people are being held hostage.

Terrorism fighting terrorism?

Today, PRAVDA NEWS reciveved an video tape message about an anti-terrorist organiztion using terrorism as it's main tactic. While fighting terrorism is definatly an vailant and honorable cause, using terrorist tactics to fight it seems contradictory in the least.

If this anti-terrorist terrorist organization is to conduct acts of terrorism against other extremist groups, then it should conduct it's war with the upmost caution to prevent innocent civilian deaths. Keep in mind that not all civilians of an nation that has an terrorist organization support terrorist actions, and there is an likelyhood that the organization is not even government supported.

It is unlikely the USSANL will do anything to stop this organization,b ut we advise it to be careful when it strikes other organizations. Attacking foriegn nationals on another nation's soverign territory can be taken (and rightfully so) as an declaration of war...

Most of the main building was taken out in the first set of explosions. The underground fuel tanks went next, followed by several airliners parked at terminals.The building where the civilians where in was pumped with a sleeping gas as a single Leer jet streaked into the sky.

47 people were dead. 20 were gaurds, 15 were civilians that managed to hide from the ATT and the rest were those killed when the Leer was shot down.

The hostages and now undetectable ATT members were taken to the hospital, treated and released. The operation was declared an outstanding success. Only the pilot and armed ATT members were found in the plane though. With no security tapes though, it was hard to prove who was ATT and who was hostage.

they're not in my nation, they're in a territory I occupied (OOC: talking about Palestinians...).
And also they're not a people, they're an organization, and as long as they stay quiet, I won't attack them (about a month ago I captures most of their leaders and bombed their main base camp).

The point is simple:
You attack another nation - we destroy another base camp.
You attack us - we destroy your organization.

One other thing, I'd really like to see how exaclty are you going to get an armed van or a car bomb into our borders, especially from Rasmossen...

OOC: No terriotory, no large groupings except undercover 'agents'. Nothing permanent, meaning everything from people to weapons plants have to be moved around periodicly in order to facilitate secrecy.

If the DSRO are responsible for the attacks, then you should not be surprised. That's all.
