Iesus Christi

The rain had fallen all night as clouds, grey and sullen, swept across the fresh green Iesus countryside. The downpour had been so insistent that in his subterranean cell, Patrick Iesus had heard it, the sound of the falling rain had cut through the fog that was his tormented existence and for a brief time reminded him that there was a world outside of his grey cell.
"Wake up Patrick..."
Patricks vision was all a blur, he tried desperately to focus, but somehow it just wouldn't happen, the figure in the room with him remained a haze. Patrick struggled to sit up right but his body had no strength in it, he struggled to speak but only a low gurgle came from his throat.
"Shhhh brother don't try to talk...lay still..."
The figure moved closer and knelt by Patrick. Slowly the haze lifted, the figure took shape, the form of his little sister Bridgette finally came into sharp focus
"you're as stubborn as anyone I've ever seen Paddy...silly puppy...but the game is over now dearest..things are going to move to the next level.."
Patrick croaked out "then why are you here"
"silly! To see you for the last time! Soon you wont be you any more...I just wanted to see you one more time..you always reminded me of daddy so much!"
Bridgette lent in and kissed her brothers deformed face.
"Bye bye Paddy"
Looking his sister over, his foggy but still keen mind taking note of the Christmastide honour mark on her ministry uniform...Paddy bite back the insults he was tempted to yell...and instead in a voice choked by physically and emotional violence declared..
"Merry Christmas Bridgette"
