Live Report on Taligari News Net; With Anchor Jeanne Swisher
Jeanne: This just in from the Committee of the Elections (CE)! After spending three days counting votes the winner of the elections for the Presidency is Alia Yia Aterus! The total stats of the 209 Candidates for the elections can be seen on our Website but Alia won with a total of 12% the Highest Percentage rate in Taligari Elections History! The shift in offical Main Parties has been noted with the Buddha Party losing it's Main Party Statis with over a 100 senators from the Voru Party being elected to the Senate. The stats for what parties now hold the power can be seen to my left.
The Taligari Senate:
Total Seats 500 Seats.
100- Vortus Party
100- Balance Party
90- Ecotopia Party
88- Labor Party
78- Echo Party
30- Silico Corporate Party
10- Zero-1 Party
3- Extreme Christian Party

The new President Ali Yia Atreus will be sworn in, in a private ceremony but has already been seen in the President House in Poruga working to get a bill passed that would ban meat eating in Taligari, no one is sure of how it will be taken in the new Senate but we will see.
