I'm going to compile a list of World Major Disasters *for now Natural* that has occured in you nation, they can happen at any time in you history *even people you country was born eg:A massive volcanic eruption 10 thousand years ago*.

Name: The Breaking of the Twin Lakes
Type:Flood
Date of Disaster:Unknown exact date, around 2,100 years ago
Area of Disaster:A mountain range to the north-east on the mainland.
Discription: Two thousand years ago, two large lakes at the top of a mountain ridge on the edge, only hold back but a thin rock wall gave way after a earthquake. This sent over a 200 metre high wall of water rushing away in a 140km radius. 7 Towns and a est total of 60,000 died.

Type:Space Threat
Date of Disaster:1899
Area of Disaster:The Town of Morkovo, Secker Island
Discription: In what discribed as "Rain of fire, which bruned down the city" it is belived that a severe meteor shower wrecked the town and out lying rual area causing widespread drestruction.

Type:Volcanic Eruption
Date of Distaster:1998
Area of Distaster:Mt Byss, Dark Range
Discription:In what was one of the most devestating eruptrion in World Modern history, Mt Byss blew it's top, sending ash into the air Approx 2 times that of the Toba eruption. It coved the entire continet in ash, Wasting everthing in a 70Km raduis with it's Pyroclastic Surge and killing millions of Livestock.

Name: The avalanche of new-halmspit.
Date of Disaster: March 1834.
Area of Disaster: Mount. Milecraft in north NZ.
Discription: On March 5th, 1834, the top of the snowy Mount Milecraft collapsed on a town of 23,000 residents. Only 1,500 bodies and 139 survivors were found until now.

Name: The windstorm of 1956.
Date of Disaster: September 1956.
Area of Disaster: North-east part of NZ.
Discription: Between September 14th and 18th, 1956, extremely strong and cold winds hit many mountain towns near the north-east coast of NZ. Est. of 78,400 people were killed and more than half a million hurt.

Name: The Flood of the River Phen
Date of Disaster: ca. 2300 BC
Area of Disaster: The ancient River Phen, present day Lake Lacunda in central Sdaeriji
Description: The ancient River Phen, lifeblood of the ancient Sdaerijian empires, flooded cataclysmically, drowning an estimated 40,000 people and leading to the fall of the Second Empire. The flood of the river created Lake Lacunda, upon which the second, and present, city of Sdaeriji was founded.

Name: The Sdaerijian Earthquake
Date of Disaster: May 5, 1740
Area of Disaster: The city of Sdaeriji
Description: A great earthquake, commonly accepted as being of a magnitude of 9.7 on the Ritchter scale, shook the city of Sdaeriji, causing approximately 4,500 lives and unmeasurable damage to the over 3,000 year old structures in Old Sdaeriji. On a positive note, however, the earthquake shifted Lake Lacunda in such a way that the ruins of the first city of Sdaeriji, a city estimated to have been founded in 4000 BC, were able to be explored, a boon to scholars studying the old Sdaerijian Empires.

Name: The Great Storm
Date of Disaster: February 12-15, 1983
Area of Disaster: Northeastern province of Yteru
Description: A severe snowstorm lasting four days pounded the northeastern Sdaerijian province of Yteru with over five feet of snow and frozen rain, crippling a region that had not witnessed such weather in approximately 900 years. An estimated 10,000 died in such weather-related automobile accidents, building collapses, unattended medical emergencies, and general chaos that ensued. It took over 6 months and $3 billion in federal relief aid for the region to recover, and martial law was necessary for another 6 months afterwards.

Name: The 7 Quake
Type: Richter 7.2 Earthquake
Date of Disaster: 14 Mar 1993
Area od Disaster: Downtown CCL, capital of LE
Description: City turned into chaos for days following this massive quake. Aftershocks measured up to 6.1 on the Richter.
Numbers of Casualties: Dead: near 1000, Injured: near 6000, homeless: near 10000

Name: Sinking of Ancient Octavian civilization
Type: Seismic
Date of Diaster: 1,000-1,500 years ago, exact date unknown
Area of Disaster: The north eastern section of the nation.
Discription: From scripture found in tombs, a great earthquake dropped a section of earth roughly forty miles in diameter 4,000 feet into the earth. Several underground streams filled the area with water, creating the largest lake in the nation. Located there prior to the earthquake was 95% of the Ancient Octavian civilization. Much of it was covered by rubble and earth, but some is only submerged.

Name: Operation: Righteous Smackdown
Type: Foreign weaponry
Date of Disaster: Very beginning of nation.
Area of Disaster: 3/4s of the surface area of our nation.
Discription: When our young and foolish early leaders declared war on many nations all at once, many nations intervened. Several weapons were used, including nuclear and ortillery barrages. This barrage burned our forests into ashes, eventually causing the great Sigman desert by corrosion and dust storms. Nature took its course, clearing out the rest of the forest as fires and massive drought occured. This was a harsh lesson and shaped our entire history and nation.

Name: Glacier Flood
Type: Volcanic/Flood
Date of Disaster: April 2nd 1980
Area of Disaster: Mariensey Island
Description: A dormant volcano suddenly erupted under the Jotunisen glacier, causing much of the ice to melt instantaneously. A great flow of boiling water flooded the lowlands, sweeping most surface soil with it. Roughly 1500 people were left homeless. The shipyard was lost along with most of the road network linking the coast to the highlands.
