There a new region in town

14-12-2003, 10:26
i have created a new region called the Democratic Nations. So far there only me but that because no one seems to know what a region can do. A region with more Nation has majority votes in the UN. Therefore we could pass our own resolutions or approve it. The reason i say move to mines is because i kind of take this game seriusly unlike some people who view the website like a place were you can do whatever you want.
Move to my region or at least check it out. Just one more thing in order for you to get accepted it by me you must have, civil rights, a country were children are not getting limonade on the streets, and an income tax of 10-65%.

I dunno - I think a nation where kids are given free lemonade must be a pretty cool place...

If, on the other hand, you mean that any applicants must not have in their description the phrase "<<Country's Name>>'s economy consists almost entirely of enterprising 14-yr-old selling home-made lemonade on street corners" - what's wrong with that? Why shouldn't budding entrepeneurs be allowed to make some money for themselves?

Just as an aside - up until about a fortnight ago, my own economy (which at the time was Strong - it's now Thriving) was made up entirely of lemonade-sellers, and I had (and still do, actually) an income tax of 100%. How the greasy poop does that make a Strong economy?
