Brothers and sisters of Zeronia,
Today, Zeronia was released from the grip of a disturbed man, Morpheus Kazzero. That man is my brother. After he liquidated the High Ministry, I led an underground resistance to oust him while he was still basking in the bloodshed. Using help from some insiders within Morpheus’ inner sanctum, we seized his compound. He is now in our custody. These past two years have been filled with confusion and catastrophe. My brother and your Premier, Morpheus Kazzero, was deceptive, and had a thirst for power. After Xavier died, he flew back to Zeronia, killed Lina, and went after me. Any other deviations from this story are lies.
I am assuming Premiership of Zeronia with full confidence that I will succeed in putting your trust back into the government. Within mere hours after Morpheus’ capture, I inducted a new government into place. I understand that with four Premiers in two and a half years, it is hard to understand what is going on behind closed doors, but I assure you that I am the real McCoy, and I will bring stability back to Zeronia once and for all. But for me to do this, I need the trust of the people. I need your trust. I also need your help. I am new to the political scene. To help me along, I will periodically hold national referendums when making certain decisions. In this sense, I will be putting more power into your hands.
I have plans for Zeronia. Zeronia is going to be bigger and better than ever. I will continue to push the nation forward as my brother Xavier and my father did before me. I promise to make Zeronia’s health care system the best in the world. Nobody will ever have to wait in long line-ups for surgery. I will arrange free flu shots for everyone within the next five years. I will continue to push for post-secondary educational funding. And what of defence? Our massive military is not up to par with the rest of the world. Under my rule, you will expect fewer, but better trained soldiers defending our land. Expect more reserves. Expect better equipment. I have Zeronia’s finest generals to shape and polish our military force, much like a jeweler with a diamond in the rough. I promise to continue Zeronia’s exploration and study of space. With an aggressive space program, I promise that we will have a Zeronian in space within fifteen years. How will we achieve all this? With a fine staff, I am going to work diligently to shape a new economy. Zeronia is a diamond in the rough, and I promise to make it fiery like the passion which keeps this nation alive.
