Today was a grand day in the peaceful land of Yshurak when its first manned space shuttle was launched. Heading the mission and acting as chief pilot is Dr. Melvin Hjorksbourg of the Yshurak National University. He was launched into orbit with Dr. Alison Gerad, Dr. Timothy Zistan, and Dr. Michelle Umlar.
President Jan Horembolg delivered a national televised speech to praise and commemorate this great moment of Yshurak's accomplishments. "This is a day for future generations to take pride for and remember," the president said.
The shuttle mission is expected to be in orbit for at least three weeks.
