Ganymede-KGI Capitol
The construction ships began their silent movements in orbit of Ganymede smoothly. The first to go up was the barracks and the temporary construction parts of the station, being removed from the cargo areas first. Armed ships (OOC: That is, ships with robotic arms) fastened the two together. Next, a set thrusters were added, making it obvious that this was not the perminent location of the starbase.
Cargo sections were fastened later in the day, and under the watchful eye of Konanian officials, as were the hanger secions. Deep inside the station was the bridge, protected from the outside. Aesthetic greenhouse domes were added last (These provided no oxygen, and were used primarily for the oblibitory glimpse of sky that humans could not do without).
This simulation took three hours to run through. With all details, the real starbase would take 4 months.
Construction began later that day.
