Tigert Class Carrier

With the recent upgrading of Briandom's air fleet, there is a need to add Short Takeoff/Vertical Landing carriers to the navy.

Due to the recent design swaps of the F-15 and F-16 for the new F-35, a new breed of carrier will begin construction within the next few weeks. The first carrier will be completed in about a year.

These carriers are not to replace the current Nimitz class in place now, but instead to be a compliment to them. Some carrier groups will contain a Nimitz and Tigert class carriers, others will have only a Nimitz or Tigert.
