(I'm not sure where to put this but the NationStates Forum seems the best place, so here goes:)

Hi, I'm working on a new canton for the flag of Patoxia, it's old flag was the Serapis Flag:

I've however decided that Patoxia will have five political divisions and as such have decided to change my flag's canton. Herein lies the dilemma: What shall the canton be? I have three front runners at the moment:

Number 1: A red saltire (bordered by white) with five (eight-pointed) stars on a blue field:

Number 2: A red saltire (bordered by white) with five (eight-pointed) stars and a white cross on a blue field:

Number 3: Five (eight-pointed) stars on a blue field representing a new constellation:

Should I go with one of these, make a completely new canton, go back to the Serapis flag, or scrap my current flag and come up with something completely and utterly different. I look forward to hearing your suggestions and input.

First of all. I don't really like any of the flags... but that's my personal opinion. Out of all three new flags, though, it's a tough decision between #1 and #3. #1 gives a strong impression on me, while #3 is bold and simple. I don't particularly like #2 because of the additional white lines. It looks to 'liney'.
